[6:125] | Faman yuridi Allahu an yahdiyahuyashrah sadrahu lil-islami waman yurid an yudillahuyajAAal sadrahu dayyiqan harajan kaannamayassaAAAAadu fee alssama-i kathalikayajAAalu Allahu alrrijsa AAala allatheenala yu/minoona
|  فمن يرد الله أن يهديه يشرح صدره للإسلام ومن يرد أن يضله يجعل صدره ضيقا حرجا كأنما يصعد في السماء كذلك يجعل الله الرجس على الذين لا يؤمنون
فَمَن يُرِدِ اللّهُ أَن يَهْدِيَهُ يَشْرَحْ صَدْرَهُ لِلْإِسْلاَمِ وَمَن يُرِدْ أَن يُضِلَّهُ يَجْعَلْ صَدْرَهُ ضَيِّقًا حَرَجًا كَأَنَّمَا يَصَّعَّدُ فِي السَّمَاءِ كَذَلِكَ يَجْعَلُ اللّهُ الرِّجْسَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ |
| Words | |فمن - So whoever| يرد - wants| الله - Allah| أن - that| يهديه - He guides him -| يشرح - He expands| صدره - his breast| للإسلام - to Islam;| ومن - and whoever| يرد - He wants| أن - that| يضله - He lets him go astray| يجعل - He makes| صدره - his breast| ضيقا - tight| حرجا - and constricted| كأنما - as though| يصعد - he (were) climbing| في - into| السماء - the sky.| كذلك - Thus| يجعل - places| الله - Allah| الرجس - the filth| على - on| الذين - those who| لا - (do) not| يؤمنون - believe.| |

| አላህም ሊመራው የሚሻውን ሰው ደረቱን (ልቡን) ለኢስላም ይከፍትለታል፡፡ ሊያጠመውም የሚሻውን ሰው ደረቱን ጠባብ ቸጋራ ወደ ሰማይ ለመውጣት አንደሚታገል ያደርገዋል፡፡ እንደዚሁ አላህ በእነዚያ በማያምኑት ላይ ርክሰትን ያደርጋል፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { فمن يرد الله أن يهديه يشرح صدره للإسلام } بأن يقذف في قلبه نورا فينفسح له ويقبله كما ورد في حديث { ومن يردْ } الله { أن يضلَّه يجعل صدره ضَيْقا } بالتخفيف والتشديد عن قبوله { حرَجا } شديد الضيق بكسر الراء صفة وفتحها مصدر وصف فيه مبالغة { كأنما يصَّعَّد } وفي قراءة يصَّاعد وفيهما إدغام التاء في الأصل في الصاد وفي أخرى بسكونها { في السماء } إذا كلف الإيمان لشدته عليه { كذلك } الجعل { يجعل الله الرجس } العذاب أو الشيطان أي يسلطه { على الذين لا يؤمنون } . |
| Win Ib$a Öebbi a t Inhu, ad illi idmaren is ar wannuz. Win Ib$a a t Itlef, ad Irr idmaren is deyqen, têeyyôen, amzun ippaâôav ad iali s igenni. Akka i Ippara Öebbi axerwaâ i wid ur numin. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | অতঃপর আল্লাহ যাকে পথ-প্রদর্শন করতে চান, তার বক্ষকে ইসলামের জন্যে উম্মুক্ত করে দেন এবং যাকে বিপথগামী করতে চান, তার বক্ষকে সংকীর্ণ অত্যধিক সংকীর্ণ করে দেন-যেন সে সবেগে আকাশে আরোহণ করছে। এমনি ভাবে যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে না। আল্লাহ তাদের উপর আযাব বর্ষন করেন। |
| Literal | So who God wants/wills that He guides him, He expands his chest to the Islam/submission (to God), and who He wants/wills that He misguides him, He makes his chest narrow/tight , a tightness/strain/sin , as if (he) ascends in the sky/space, like that God makes/puts the obscenity/punishment and torture on those who do not believe. |
| Yusuf Ali | Those whom Allah (in His plan) willeth to guide,- He openeth their breast to Islam; those whom He willeth to leave straying,- He maketh their breast close and constricted, as if they had to climb up to the skies: thus doth Allah (heap) the penalty on those who refuse to believe. |
