| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[6:120] | Watharoo thahiraal-ithmi wabatinahu inna allatheena yaksiboonaal-ithma sayujzawna bima kanoo yaqtarifoona
|  وذروا ظاهر الإثم وباطنه إن الذين يكسبون الإثم سيجزون بما كانوا يقترفون
وَذَرُواْ ظَاهِرَ الْإِثْمِ وَبَاطِنَهُ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَكْسِبُونَ الْإِثْمَ سَيُجْزَوْنَ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَقْتَرِفُونَ |
| Words | |وذروا - Forsake| ظاهر - open| الإثم - [the] sins| وباطنه - and the secret.| إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| يكسبون - earn| الإثم - [the] sin| سيجزون - they will be recompensed| بما - for what| كانوا - they used to| يقترفون - commit.| |

| የኃጢአትንም ግልጹንም ድብቁንም ተውዉ፡፡ እነዚያ ኃጢአትን የሚሠሩ፤ ይሠሩት በነበሩት ነገር በእርግጥ ይቀጣሉ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وذروا } أُتركوا { ظاهر الإثم وباطنه } علانيته وسره والإثم قيل الزنا، وقيل كل معصية { إن الذين يكسبون الإثم سيُجزون } في الآخرة { بما كانوا يقترفون } يكتسبون . |
| Ekkset abekkav uvhiô akked uffir. Ih, wid ibbwin abekkav, ad ppuqeîîin $ef wayen xeddmen. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তোমরা প্রকাশ্য ও প্রচ্ছন্ন গোনাহ পরিত্যাগ কর। নিশ্চয় যারা গোনাহ করেছে, তারা অতিসত্বর তাদের কৃতকর্মের শাস্তি পাবে। |
| Literal | And leave (the) apparent/visible (of) the sin/crime, and its hidden/secret , that those who acquire/carry the sin/crime, they will be rewarded/reimbursed with what they were fabricating. |
| Yusuf Ali | Eschew all sin, open or secret: those who earn sin will get due recompense for their "earnings." |
| Pickthal | Forsake the outwardness of sin and the inwardness thereof. Lo! those who garner sin will be awarded that which they have earned. |
