بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [6:108] | Wala tasubboo allatheenayadAAoona min dooni Allahi fayasubboo AllahaAAadwan bighayri AAilmin kathalika zayyanna likulliommatin AAamalahum thumma ila rabbihim marjiAAuhumfayunabbi-ohum bima kanoo yaAAmaloona
| ولا تسبوا الذين يدعون من دون الله فيسبوا الله عدوا بغير علم كذلك زينا لكل أمة عملهم ثم إلى ربهم مرجعهم فينبئهم بما كانوا يعملون وَلاَ تَسُبُّواْ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللّهِ فَيَسُبُّواْ اللّهَ عَدْوًا بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ كَذَلِكَ زَيَّنَّا لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ عَمَلَهُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَى رَبِّهِم مَّرْجِعُهُمْ فَيُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ |
Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تسبوا - insult| الذين - those whom| يدعون - they invoke| من - from| دون - other than| الله - Allah,| فيسبوا - lest they insult| الله - Allah| عدوا - (in) enmity| بغير - without| علم - knowledge.| كذلك - Thus| زينا - We have made fair-seeming| لكل - to every| أمة - community| عملهم - their deed.| ثم - Then| إلى - to| ربهم - their Lord| مرجعهم - (is) their return,| فينبئهم - then He will inform them| بما - about what| كانوا - they used to| يعملون - do.| |

| እነዚያንም ከአላህ ሌላ የሚገዙዋቸውን (ጣዖታትን) አትስደቡ፡፡ ድንበርን በማለፍ ያለዕውቀት አላህን ይሰድባሉና፡፡ እንደዚሁ ለሕዝቦች ሁሉ ሥራቸውን ደግ አስመሰልንላቸው፡፡ ከዚያም መመለሻቸው ወደ ጌታቸው ነው፡፡ ይሠሩት የነበሩትንም ሁሉ ይነግራቸዋል፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { ولا تسبوا الذين يدعونـ } ـهم { من دون الله } أي الأصنام { فيسبوا الله عدْوا } اعتداء وظلما { بغير علم } أي جهلا منهم بالله { كذلك } كما زيَّنا لهؤلاء ما هم عليه { زيَّنا لكل أمة عملهم } من الخير والشر فأتوه { ثم إلى ربهم مرجعهم } في الآخرة { فينبِّئهم بما كانوا يعلمون } فيجازيهم به . |
| Ur naâlet wid u$uô la pnujun, war Öebbi. Axaîeô ad naâlen Öebbi, s lbe$wv, war tamusni. Akka ay Ncebbeê igiten is i yal lois. Sinna, ar Mass nnsen, tu$alin nnsen; a ten Ixebbeô $ef wayen xeddmen. |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তোমরা তাদেরকে মন্দ বলো না, যাদের তারা আরাধনা করে আল্লাহকে ছেড়ে। তাহলে তারা ধৃষ্টতা করে অজ্ঞতাবশতঃ আল্লাহকে মন্দ বলবে। এমনিভাবে আমি প্রত্যেক সম্প্রদায়ের দৃষ্টিতে তাদের কাজ কর্ম সুশোভিত করে দিয়েছি। অতঃপর স্বীয় পালনকর্তার কাছে তাদেরকে প্রত্যাবর্তন করতে হবে। তখন তিনি তাদেরকে বলে দেবেন যা কিছু তারা করত। |
Literal | And do not insult/abuse/defame those who call from other than God, so they insult/abuse/defame God, transgression/violation without knowledge, like that We decorated/beautified to every nation/generation their work , then to their Lord (is) their return, so He informs them with what they were making/doing . |
Yusuf Ali | Revile not ye those whom they call upon besides Allah, lest they out of spite revile Allah in their ignorance. Thus have We made alluring to each people its own doings. In the end will they return to their Lord, and We shall then tell them the truth of all that they did. |
Pickthal | Revile not those unto whom they pray beside Allah lest they wrongfully revile Allah through ignorance. Thus unto every nation have We made their deed seem fair. Then unto their Lord is their return, and He will tell them what they used to do. |
Arberry | Abuse not those to whom they pray, apart from God, or they will abuse God in revenge without knowledge. So We have decked out fair to every nation their deeds; then to their Lord they shall return, and He will tell them what they have been doing. |
Shakir | And do not abuse those whom they call upon besides Allah, lest exceeding the limits they should abuse Allah out of ignorance. Thus have We made fair seeming to every people their deeds; then to their Lord shall be their return, so He will inform them of what they did. |
Sarwar | Believers, do not say bad words against the idols lest they (pagans) in their hostility and ignorance say such words against God. We have made every nation's deeds seem attractive to them. One day they will all return to their Lord who will inform them of all that they have done. |
H/K/Saheeh | And do not insult those they invoke other than Allah, lest they insult Allah in enmity without knowledge. Thus We have made pleasing to every community their deeds. Then to their Lord is their return, and He will inform them about what they used to do. |
Malik | O believers, do not insult those, whom these pagans call upon besides Allah, lest in retaliation they call bad names to Allah out of their ignorance. Thus We have made the deeds of every group of people seem fair to them. In the end they will all return to their Lord and then, He will inform them of the reality of all that they have done.[108] |
Maulana Ali** | And abuse not those whom they call upon besides Allah, lest, exceeding the limits, they abuse Allah through ignorance. Thus to every people have We made their deeds fair-seeming; then to their Lord is their return so He will inform them of what they did. |

George Sale | Revile not the idols which they invoke besides God, lest they maliciously revile God, without knowledge. Thus have We prepared for every nation their works: Hereafter unto God shall they return, and He shall declare unto them that which they have done. |

Fateh Muhammad Jalandhary | اور جن لوگوں کو یہ مشرک خدا کے سوا پکارتے ہیں ان کو برا نہ کہنا کہ یہ بھی کہیں خدا کو بےادبی سے بے سمجھے برا (نہ) کہہ بیٹھیں۔ اس طرح ہم نے ہر ایک فرقے کے اعمال (ان کی نظروں میں) اچھے کر دکھائے ہیں۔ پھر ان کو اپنے پروردگار ک طرف لوٹ کر جانا ہے تب وہ ان کو بتائے گا کہ وہ کیا کیا کرتے تھے |

Abul Ala Maududi | اور (اے ایمان لانے والو!) یہ لوگ اللہ کے سوا جن کو پکارتے ہیں انہیں گالیاں نہ دو، کہیں ایسا نہ ہو کہ یہ شرک سے آگے بڑھ کر جہالت کی بنا پر اللہ کو گالیاں دینے لگیں ہم نے اسی طرح ہر گروہ کے لیے اس کے عمل کو خوشنما بنا دیا ہے پھر انہیں اپنے رب ہی کی طرف پلٹ کر آنا ہے، اُس وقت وہ اُنہیں بتا دے گا کہ وہ کیا کرتے رہے ہیں |
Ahmed Ali | اور جن کی یہ الله کے سوا پرستش کر تےہیں انہیں برا نہ کہوورنہ وہ بے سمجھی سے زیادتی کرکے الله کو برا کہیں گے اس طرح ہر ایک جماعت کی نظر میں ان کے اعمال کوہم نے آراستہ کر دیا ہے پھر ان سب کو اپنے رب کی طرف لوٹ کر آنا ہے تب وہ انہیں بتلائے گا جو کچھ کیا کرتے تھے |
