بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Walaw jaAAalnahu malakan lajaAAalnahurajulan walalabasna AAalayhim ma yalbisoona ولو جعلناه ملكا لجعلناه رجلا وللبسنا عليهم ما يلبسون
وَلَوْ جَعَلْنَاهُ مَلَكًا لَّجَعَلْنَاهُ رَجُلاً وَلَلَبَسْنَا عَلَيْهِم مَّا يَلْبِسُونَ
 Words|ولو - And if| جعلناه - We had made him| ملكا - an Angel,| لجعلناه - certainly We (would) have made him| رجلا - a man,| وللبسنا - and certainly We (would) have obscured| عليهم - to them| ما - what| يلبسون - they are obscuring.|

(መልክተኛውን) መልአክም ባደረግነው ኖሮ ወንድ (በሰው ምስል) ባደረግነው ነበር፡፡ በእነርሱም ላይ የሚያመሳስሉትን ነገር ባመሳሰልንባቸው ነበር፡፡
آل الجلالين{ ولو جعلناه } أي المنزل إليهم { ملكا لجعلناه } أي الملك { رجلا } أي على صورته ليتمكنوا من رؤيته إذ لا قوَّه للبشر على رؤية الملك { و } لو أنزلناه وجعلنا رجلا { للبسنا } شبهنا { عليهم ما يلبسون } على أنفسهم بأن يقولوا ما هذا إلا بشر مثلكم .

মুহিউদ্দীন খানযদি আমি কোন ফেরেশতাকে রসূল করে পাঠাতাম, তবে সে মানুষের আকারেই হত। এতেও ঐ সন্দেহই করত, যা এখন করছে।
LiteralAnd if We made him an angel, We would have made him a man, We would have dressed on him (from) what they dress.
Yusuf AliIf We had made it an angel, We should have sent him as a man, and We should certainly have caused them confusion in a matter which they have already covered with confusion.

Malikand if We had sent an angel, We would have certainly sent him in a human form and thus involved them in the same confusion as they are in at this time.[9]

Khalifa**Had we sent an angel, we would have sent him in the form of a man, and we would have kept them just as confused as they are confused now.
Hilali/Khan**And had We appointed him an angel, We indeed would have made him a man, and We would have certainly caused them confusion in a matter which they have already covered with confusion (i.e. the Message of Prophet Muhammad SAW).
