بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [54:4] | Walaqad jaahum mina al-anba-i mafeehi muzdajarun
| ولقد جاءهم من الأنباء ما فيه مزدجر وَلَقَدْ جَاءَهُم مِّنَ الْأَنبَاءِ مَا فِيهِ مُزْدَجَرٌ |
Words | |ولقد - And certainly| جاءهم - has come to them| من - of| الأنباء - the information| ما - wherein| فيه - wherein| مزدجر - (is) deterrence,| |

| ከዜናዎችም በእርሱ ውስጥ መገሰጥ ያለበት ነገር በእርግጥ መጣላቸው፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { ولقد جاءهم من الأنباء } أخبار إهلاك الأمم المكذبة رسلهم { ما فيه مزدجر } لهم اسم مكان والدال بدل من تاء الافتعال وازدجرته وزجرته: نهيته بغلظة وما موصولة أو موصوفة . |
| Ni$ usan ten id kra isallen, u wayen degsen iswexxiôen. |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তাদের কাছে এমন সংবাদ এসে গেছে, যাতে সাবধানবাণী রয়েছে। |
Literal | And had (E) come to them from the information/news what in it (is) prevention/deterrence . |
Yusuf Ali | There have already come to them Recitals wherein there is (enough) to check (them), |
Pickthal | And surely there hath come unto them news whereof the purport should deter, |
Arberry | And there have come to them such tidings as contain a deterrent -- |
