| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[54:38] | Walaqad sabbahahum bukratanAAathabun mustaqirrun
|  ولقد صبحهم بكرة عذاب مستقر
وَلَقَدْ صَبَّحَهُم بُكْرَةً عَذَابٌ مُّسْتَقِرٌّ |
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly| صبحهم - seized them in the morning| بكرة - early| عذاب - a punishment| مستقر - abiding.| |

| በማለዳም ዘውታሪ የኾነ ቅጣት በእርግጥ ማለደባቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ولقد صبحهم بكرة } وقت الصبح من يوم غير معين { عذاب مستقر } دائم متصل بعذاب الآخرة . |
| Iusa ten id, ssbeê zik, uâaqeb imezgi. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তাদেরকে প্রত্যুষে নির্ধারিত শাস্তি আঘাত হেনেছিল। |
| Literal | And settled/established torture had (E) come to them in the morning (at) day breaks/early mornings. |
| Yusuf Ali | Early on the morrow an abiding Punishment seized them: |
| Pickthal | And in truth the punishment decreed befell them early in the morning. |
