| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[45:24] | Waqaloo ma hiya illa hayatunaalddunya namootu wanahya wamayuhlikuna illa alddahru wama lahum bithalikamin AAilmin in hum illa yathunnoona
|  وقالوا ما هي إلا حياتنا الدنيا نموت ونحيا وما يهلكنا إلا الدهر وما لهم بذلك من علم إن هم إلا يظنون
وَقَالُوا مَا هِيَ إِلَّا حَيَاتُنَا الدُّنْيَا نَمُوتُ وَنَحْيَا وَمَا يُهْلِكُنَا إِلَّا الدَّهْرُ وَمَا لَهُم بِذَلِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَظُنُّونَ |
| Words | |وقالوا - And they say,| ما - "Not| هي - it| إلا - (is) but| حياتنا - our life| الدنيا - (of) the world,| نموت - we die| ونحيا - and we live,| وما - and not| يهلكنا - destroys us| إلا - except| الدهر - the time."| وما - And not| لهم - for them| بذلك - of that| من - any| علم - knowledge;| إن - not,| هم - they| إلا - (do) but| يظنون - guess.| |

| እርሷም (ሕይወት) የቅርቢቱ ሕይወታችን እንጅ ሌላ አይደለችም፡፡ «እንሞታለን፤ ሕያውም እንኾናለን፡፡ ከጊዜም (ማለፍ) በስተቀር ሌላ አያጠፋንም» አሉ፡፡ ለእነርሱም በዚህ (በሚሉት) ምንም ዕውቀት የላቸውም፡፡ እነርሱ የሚጠራጠሩ እንጅ ሌላ አይደሉም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وقالوا } أي منكرو البعث { ما هي } أي الحياة { إلا حياتنا } التي في { الدنيا نموت ونحيا } أي يموت بعض ويحيا بعض بأن يولدوا { وما يهلكنا إلا الدهر } أي مرور الزمان، قال تعالى: { وما لهم بذلك } المقول { من علم إن } ما { هم إلا يظنون } . |
| Nnan: "i illan kan, d tudert nne$, di ddunit. A nemmet, a nidir. Ad a$ in$en kan d akud". £ef ayagi, ur sâin kra n tmusni. Nitni $ilen kan. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা বলে, আমাদের পার্থিব জীবনই তো শেষ; আমরা মরি ও বাঁচি মহাকালই আমাদেরকে ধ্বংস করে। তাদের কাছে এ ব্যাপারে কোন জ্ঞান নেই। তারা কেবল অনুমান করে কথা বলে। |
| Literal | And they said: "It is not except our life the present/worldly life, we die and we live, and nothing makes us die/destroys us except the long time." And (there is) no knowledge with that for them, that truly they are except assuming/supposing . |
| Yusuf Ali | And they say: "What is there but our life in this world? We shall die and we live, and nothing but time can destroy us." But of that they have no knowledge: they merely conjecture: |
