| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[44:37] | Ahum khayrun am qawmu tubbaAAin waallatheenamin qablihim ahlaknahum innahum kanoo mujrimeena
|  أهم خير أم قوم تبع والذين من قبلهم أهلكناهم إنهم كانوا مجرمين
أَهُمْ خَيْرٌ أَمْ قَوْمُ تُبَّعٍ وَالَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ أَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا مُجْرِمِينَ |
| Words | |أهم - Are they| خير - better| أم - or| قوم - (the) people| تبع - (of) Tubba| والذين - and those| من - before them?| قبلهم - before them?| أهلكناهم - We destroyed them,| إنهم - indeed, they| كانوا - were| مجرمين - criminals.| |

| እነርሱ በላጮች ናቸውን ወይስ የቱብበዕ ሕዝቦችና እነዚያ ከእነርሱ በፊት የነበሩት? አጠፋናቸው፡፡ እነርሱ አመጸኞች ነበሩና፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | قال تعالى: { أهم خير أم قوم تُبَّع } هو نبي أو رجل صالح { والذين من قبلهم } من الأمم { أهلكناهم } بكفرهم، والمعنى ليسوا أقوى منهم وأهلكوا { إنهم كانوا مجرمين } . |
