بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Wa-innahu laAAilmun lilssaAAatifala tamtarunna biha waittabiAAooni hathasiratun mustaqeemun

وإنه لعلم للساعة فلا تمترن بها واتبعون هذا صراط مستقيم
وَإِنَّهُ لَعِلْمٌ لِّلسَّاعَةِ فَلَا تَمْتَرُنَّ بِهَا وَاتَّبِعُونِ هَذَا صِرَاطٌ مُّسْتَقِيمٌ

Words

እርሱም (ዒሳ) ለሰዓቲቱ (ማወቂያ) በእርግጥ ምልክት ነው፡፡ «በእርሷም አትጠራጠሩ፡፡ ተከተሉኝም፤ ይህ ቀጥተኛ መንገድ ነው» (በላቸው)፡፡

آل الجلالين

{ وإنه } أي عيسى { لعلم للساعة } تعلم بنزوله { فلا تمترن بها } أي تشكن فيها، حذف منه نون الرفع للجزم، وواو الضمير لالتقاء الساكنين { و } قل لهم { اتبعون } على التوحيد { هذا } الذي آمركم به { صراط } طريق { مستقيم } .

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

সুতরাং তা হল কেয়ামতের নিদর্শন। কাজেই তোমরা কেয়ামতে সন্দেহ করো না এবং আমার কথা মান। এটা এক সরল পথ।

Literal

And that he/it truly is knowledge (E) to the Resurrection/Time of Resurrection/Hour, so do not doubt/argue (E) with it, and follow Me, that (is a) straight/direct road/way.

Yusuf Ali

And (Jesus) shall be a Sign (for the coming of) the Hour (of Judgment): therefore have no doubt about the (Hour), but follow ye Me: this is a Straight Way.

Pickthal

And lo! verily there is knowledge of the Hour. So doubt ye not concerning it, but follow Me. This is the right path.

Arberry

It is knowledge of the Hour; doubt not concerning it, and follow me. This is a straight path.

And most surely it is a knowledge of the hour, therefore have no doubt about it and follow me: this is the right path.

(Muhammad), tell them, Jesus is a sign of the Hour of Doom. Have no doubt about it and follow me; this is the straight path.

And indeed, Jesus will be [a sign for] knowledge of the Hour, so be not in doubt of it, and follow Me. This is a straight path.

He (Jesus) is, in fact, a sign for the coming of the Hour of Doom. Therefore, have no doubt about its coming, follow me; this is the Right Way.[61]

And this (revelation) is surely knowledge of the Hour, so have no doubt about it and follow me. This is the right path.

AND, BEHOLD, this [divine writ] is indeed a means to know [that] the Last Hour [is bound to come]; [Whereas most of the commentators regard the pronoun hu in innahu as relating to Jesus and, consequently, interpret the above phrase as "he is indeed a means to know [i.e., an indication of the coming of] the Last Hour", some authorities - e.g., Qatadah, Al-Hasan al-Basri and Said ibn Jubayr (all of them quoted by Tabari, Baghawi and Ibn Kathir) - relate the pronoun to the Quran, and understand the phrase in the sense adopted in my rendering. The specific mention of the Last Hour in the above context is meant to stress man's ultimate responsibility before the Creator and, therefore, the fact that worship is due to Him alone: and so this parenthetic passage follows logically upon the mention of the false deification of Jesus.] hence, have no doubt whatever about it, but follow Me: this [alone] is a straight way.

Khalifa**

He is to serve as a marker for knowing the end of the world, so you can no longer harbor any doubt about it. You shall follow Me; this is the right path.

Hilali/Khan**

And he (Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)) shall be a known sign for (the coming of) the Hour (Day of Resurrection) (i.e. Iesas (Jesus) descent on the earth) . Therefore have no doubt concerning it (i.e. the Day of Resurrection). And follow Me (Allah) (i.e. be obedient to Allah and do what He orders you to do, O mankind)! This is the Straight Path (of Islamic Monotheism, leading to Allah and to His Paradise).

And, behold, this (Qur'an) indeed gives knowledge of the oncoming Revolution. Hence, bear no doubt about it and follow Me. This alone is the Straight Path.
