| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[43:48] | Wama nureehim min ayatin illahiya akbaru min okhtiha waakhathnahum bialAAathabilaAAallahum yarjiAAoona
|  وما نريهم من آية إلا هي أكبر من أختها وأخذناهم بالعذاب لعلهم يرجعون
وَمَا نُرِيهِم مِّنْ آيَةٍ إِلَّا هِيَ أَكْبَرُ مِنْ أُخْتِهَا وَأَخَذْنَاهُم بِالْعَذَابِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ |
| Words | |وما - And not| نريهم - We showed them| من - of| آية - a Sign| إلا - but| هي - it| أكبر - (was) greater| من - than| أختها - its sister,| وأخذناهم - and We seized them| بالعذاب - with the punishment| لعلهم - so that they may| يرجعون - return.| |

| ከተዓምርም አንዲትንም አናሳያቸውም እርሷ ከብጤዋ በጣም የበለጠች ብትኾን እንጅ፡፡ (ከክህደታቸው) ይመለሱም ዘንድ በቅጣት ያዝናቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وما نريهم من آية } من آيات العذاب كالطوفان، وهو ماء دخل بيوتهم ووصل إلى حلوق الجالسين سبعة أيام، والجراد { إلا هي أكبر من أختها } قرينتها التي قبلها { وأخذناهم بالعذاب لعلهم يرجعون } عن الكفر . |
| Ur asen Nessenâata assekni, siwa ma i$leb gma s. Nesâadda fellasen aâaqeb, amar a d u$alen s abrid. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আমি তাদেরকে যে নিদর্শনই দেখাতাম, তাই হত পূর্ববর্তী নিদর্শন অপেক্ষা বৃহৎ এবং আমি তাদেরকে শাস্তি দ্বারা পাকড়াও করলাম, যাতে তারা ফিরে আসে। |
| Literal | And We do not show them/make them understand from a verse/evidence/sign except (that) it is greater than its sister, and We took/punished them with the torture, maybe/perhaps they return. |
