[42:7] | Wakathalika awhaynailayka qur-anan AAarabiyyan litunthira omma alqurawaman hawlaha watunthira yawma aljamAAi larayba feehi fareequn fee aljannati wafareequn fee alssaAAeeri
|  وكذلك أوحينا إليك قرآنا عربيا لتنذر أم القرى ومن حولها وتنذر يوم الجمع لا ريب فيه فريق في الجنة وفريق في السعير
وَكَذَلِكَ أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ قُرْآنًا عَرَبِيًّا لِّتُنذِرَ أُمَّ الْقُرَى وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا وَتُنذِرَ يَوْمَ الْجَمْعِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ فَرِيقٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَفَرِيقٌ فِي السَّعِيرِ |

| እንደዚሁም የከተሞች እናት የኾነችውን (የመካን ሰዎች) በአካባቢዋ ያሉትንም ልታስፈራራ የመሰብሰቢያውንም ቀን በእርሱ ጥርጣሬ የሌለበት ሲኾን ልታስጠነቅቅ ዐረብኛ የኾነን ቁርኣን ወደ አንተ አወረድን፡፡ (ከእነርሱም) ከፊሉ በገነት ውሰጥ ከፊሉም በእሳት ውስጥ ነው፡፡ |

| Literal | And as/like that We inspired/transmitted to you an Arabic Koran to warn/give notice to the mother/origin (of) the villages/urban cities and who (is) around/surrounding it, and warn/give notice (of) the Gathering Day/Resurrection Day, (there is) no doubt/suspicion in it, a group/party/flock (are) in the Paradise, and a group/party/flock (are) in the blazing/inflamed (inferno). |
