| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[42:6] | Waallatheena ittakhathoomin doonihi awliyaa Allahu hafeethunAAalayhim wama anta AAalayhim biwakeelin
|  والذين اتخذوا من دونه أولياء الله حفيظ عليهم وما أنت عليهم بوكيل
وَالَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِهِ أَولِيَاءَ اللَّهُ حَفِيظٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَمَا أَنتَ عَلَيْهِم بِوَكِيلٍ |
| Words | |والذين - And those who| اتخذوا - take| من - besides| دونه - besides| أولياء - protectors,| الله - Allah| حفيظ - (is) a Guardian| عليهم - over them,| وما - and not| أنت - you| عليهم - (are) over them| بوكيل - a manager.| |

| እነዚያም ከእርሱ ሌላ (የጣዖታት) ረዳቶችን የያዙ፤ አላህ በእነርሱ ላይ ተጠባባቂ ነው፡፡ አንተም በእነርሱ ላይ ኀላፊ አይደለህም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { والذين اتخذوا من دونه } أي الأصنام { أولياء الله حفيظ } محص { عليهم } ليجازيهم { وما أنت عليهم بوكيل } تحصل المطلوب منهم، ما عليك إلا البلاغ . |
| Wid irran imawlan, war Neppa, Iquôaâ ten Öebbi. Ur telliv, keçç, d awkil nnsen. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যারা আল্লাহ ব্যতীত অপরকে অভিভাবক হিসাবে গ্রহণ করে, আল্লাহ তাদের প্রতি লক্ষ্য রাখেন। আপনার উপর নয় তাদের দায়-দায়িত্ব। |
| Literal | And those who took from other than Him guardians/allies , God (is an) observer on them, and you are not on them with a guardian/protector . |
| Yusuf Ali | And those who take as protectors others besides Him,- Allah doth watch over them; and thou art not the disposer of their affairs. |
| Pickthal | And as for those who choose protecting friends beside Him, Allah is Warden over them, and thou art in no wise a guardian over them. |
| Arberry | And those who have taken to them protectors apart from Him -- God is Warden over them; thou art not a guardian over them. |
