| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[40:39] | Ya qawmi innama hathihialhayatu alddunya mataAAunwa-inna al-akhirata hiya daru alqarari
|  يا قوم إنما هذه الحياة الدنيا متاع وإن الآخرة هي دار القرار
يَا قَوْمِ إِنَّمَا هَذِهِ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا مَتَاعٌ وَإِنَّ الْآخِرَةَ هِيَ دَارُ الْقَرَارِ |
| Words | |يا - O| قوم - O my people!| إنما - Only| هذه - this,| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world,| متاع - (is) enjoyment,| وإن - and indeed,| الآخرة - the Hereafter -| هي - it| دار - (is the) home,| القرار - (of) settlement.| |

| آل الجلالين | { يا قوم إنما هذه الحياة الدنيا متاع } تمتع يزول { وإن الآخرة هي دار القرار } . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | হে আমার কওম, পার্থিব এ জীবন তো কেবল উপভোগের বস্তু, আর পরকাল হচ্ছে স্থায়ী বসবাসের গৃহ। |
