[4:93] | Waman yaqtul mu/minan mutaAAammidan fajazaohujahannamu khalidan feeha waghadiba AllahuAAalayhi walaAAanahu waaAAadda lahu AAathaban AAatheeman
|  ومن يقتل مؤمنا متعمدا فجزاؤه جهنم خالدا فيها وغضب الله عليه ولعنه وأعد له عذابا عظيما
وَمَن يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنًا مُّتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَآؤُهُ جَهَنَّمُ خَالِدًا فِيهَا وَغَضِبَ اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَعَنَهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُ عَذَابًا عَظِيمًا |
| Words | |ومن - And whoever| يقتل - kills| مؤمنا - a believer| متعمدا - intentionally| فجزاؤه - then his recompense| جهنم - (is) Hell,| خالدا - abiding forever| فيها - in it| وغضب - and will fall the wrath| الله - (of) Allah| عليه - on him| ولعنه - and He (will) curse him| وأعد - and He has prepared| له - for him| عذابا - a punishment| عظيما - great.| |

| ምእመንንም አስቦ የሚገድል ሰው ቅጣቱ በውስጧ ዘውታሪ ሲኾን ገሀነም ናት፡፡ አላህም በርሱ ላይ ተቆጣ፡፡ ረገመውም፡፡ ለእርሱም ከባድ ቅጣትን አዘጋጀ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ومن يقتل مؤمنا متعمِّدا } بأن يقصد قتله بما يقتل غالبا عالما بإيمانه { فجزاؤه جهنم خالدا فيها وغضب الله عليه ولعنه } أبعده من رحمته { وأعد له عذابا عظيما } في النار وهذا مؤوَّل بمن يستحله أو بأن هذا جزاؤه إن جُوزي ولا يدفع في خلف الوعيد لقوله ( ويغفر ما دون ذلك لمن يشاء ) وعن ابن عباس أنها على ظاهرها وأنها ناسخة لغيرها من آيات المغفرة وبينت آية البقرة أن قاتل العمد يقتل به وأن عليه الدية إن عفي عنه وسبق قدرها وبينت السنة أن بين العمد والخطأ قتلا يسمى شبه العمد وهو أن يقتله بما لا يقتل غالبا فلا قصاص فيه بل دية كالعمد في الصفة والخطأ في التأجيل والحمل وهو والعمد أولى بالكفارة من الخطأ . |
| Win in$an lmumen s lemâamda, aqeîîi ines d Loahennama, degs ad iwekkeô. A d Izâaf Öebbi fellas, a t Ixzu, ad as d Iheggi aâaqeb abarar. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যে ব্যক্তি স্বেচ্ছাক্রমে মুসলমানকে হত্যা করে, তার শাস্তি জাহান্নাম, তাতেই সে চিরকাল থাকবে। আল্লাহ তার প্রতি ক্রুদ্ধ হয়েছেন, তাকে অভিসম্পাত করেছেন এবং তার জন্যে ভীষণ শাস্তি প্রস্তুত রেখেছেন। |
| Literal | And who kills a believer intentionally/purposely, so his reward (repayment/retribution is) Hell immortally/eternally in it, and God became angry on him, and He cursed/humiliated him, and He prepared for him a great torture. |
| Yusuf Ali | If a man kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, to abide therein (For ever): And the wrath and the curse of Allah are upon him, and a dreadful penalty is prepared for him. |

(Unjust killing of any human being, regardless of color, creed, religion or sex is a grievous offense that is tantamount to slaying the entire humankind (5:32). Hence, the offender shall be punished accordingly.
