| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[4:8] | Wa-itha hadara alqismataoloo alqurba waalyatama waalmasakeenufaorzuqoohum minhu waqooloo lahum qawlan maAAroofan
|  وإذا حضر القسمة أولو القربى واليتامى والمساكين فارزقوهم منه وقولوا لهم قولا معروفا
وَإِذَا حَضَرَ الْقِسْمَةَ أُوْلُواْ الْقُرْبَى وَالْيَتَامَى وَالْمَسَاكِينُ فَارْزُقُوهُم مِّنْهُ وَقُولُواْ لَهُمْ قَوْلاً مَّعْرُوفًا |
| Words | |وإذا - And when| حضر - present| القسمة - (at) the (time of) division| أولو - (of)| القربى - the relatives| واليتامى - and the orphans| والمساكين - and the poor,| فارزقوهم - then provide them| منه - from it| وقولوا - and speak| لهم - to them| قولا - words| معروفا - (of) kindness.| |

| ክፍያንም (ወራሽ ያልኾኑ) የዝምድና ባለቤቶችና የቲሞች፣ ምስኪኖችም በተገኙበት ጊዜ ከእርሱ ዳርጓቸው፡፡ መልካምንም ንግግር ተናገሩዋቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وإذا حضر القسمة } للميراث { أولوا القربى } ذوو القرابة ممن لا يرث { واليتامى والمساكين فارزقوهم منه } شيئا قبل القسمة { وقولوا } أيها الأولياء { لهم } إذا كان الورثة صغارا { قولا معروفا } جميلا بأن تعتذروا إليهم أنكم لا تملكونه وأنه للصغار وهذا قيل إنه منسوخ وقيل لا ولكن تهاون الناس في تركه وعليه فهو ندب وعن ابن عباس واجب . |
| Ma êedôen, i ufôaq, llzem, igujilen, igellilen, ôeéqet pen segs, tinem asen awal uûwib. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | সম্পতি বন্টনের সময় যখন আত্নীয়-স্বজন, এতীম ও মিসকীন উপস্থিত হয়, তখন তা থেকে তাদের কিছু খাইয়ে দাও এবং তাদের সাথে কিছু সদালাপ করো। |
| Literal | And if of the relations, and the orphans, and the poorest of poor/poor oppressed attended the apportionment/division, so provide for them from it, and say to them a saying (that is) kind/good. |
| Yusuf Ali | But if at the time of division other relatives, or orphans or poor, are present, feed them out of the (property), and speak to them words of kindness and justice. |
