| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[4:53] | Am lahum naseebun mina almulki fa-ithanla yu/toona alnnasa naqeeran
|  أم لهم نصيب من الملك فإذا لا يؤتون الناس نقيرا
أَمْ لَهُمْ نَصِيبٌ مِّنَ الْمُلْكِ فَإِذًا لاَّ يُؤْتُونَ النَّاسَ نَقِيرًا |
| Words | |أم - Or| لهم - for them| نصيب - (is) a share| من - of| الملك - the Kingdom?| فإذا - Then| لا - not would| يؤتون - they give| الناس - the people| نقيرا - (even as much as the) speck on a date seed.| |

| በእውነቱ ለእነሱ ከንግሥናው ፋንታ አላቸውን ያን ጊዜ ለሰዎች በተምር ፍሬ ላይ ያለችውን ነጥብ ያህል አይሰጡም ነበር፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { أم } بل { لهم نصيب من الملك } أي ليس لهم شيء منه ولو كان { فإذا لا يؤتون الناس نقيرا } أي شيئا تافها قدر النقرة في ظهر النواة لفرط بخلهم . |
| Ne$ sâan kra si tgelda, d$a ur ppaken i medden ula d atemôiw. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তাদের কাছে কি রাজ্যের কোন অংশ আছে? তাহলে যে এরা কাউকেও একটি তিল পরিমাণও দেবে না। |
| Literal | Or for them (is) a share from the ownership/kingdom , so then they do not give the people (as little as) a peck in a seed/stone.55 |
| Yusuf Ali | Have they a share in dominion or power? Behold, they give not a farthing to their fellow-men? |
