بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Mina allatheena hadoo yuharrifoonaalkalima AAan mawadiAAihi wayaqooloona samiAAnawaAAasayna waismaAA ghayra musmaAAin waraAAinalayyan bi-alsinatihim wataAAnan fee alddeeni walawannahum qaloo samiAAna waataAAna waismaAAwaonthurna lakana khayranlahum waaqwama walakin laAAanahumu Allahubikufrihim fala yu/minoona illa qaleelan من الذين هادوا يحرفون الكلم عن مواضعه ويقولون سمعنا وعصينا واسمع غير مسمع وراعنا ليا بألسنتهم وطعنا في الدين ولو أنهم قالوا سمعنا وأطعنا واسمع وانظرنا لكان خيرا لهم وأقوم ولكن لعنهم الله بكفرهم فلا يؤمنون إلا قليلا
مِّنَ الَّذِينَ هَادُواْ يُحَرِّفُونَ الْكَلِمَ عَن مَّوَاضِعِهِ وَيَقُولُونَ سَمِعْنَا وَعَصَيْنَا وَاسْمَعْ غَيْرَ مُسْمَعٍ وَرَاعِنَا لَيًّا بِأَلْسِنَتِهِمْ وَطَعْنًا فِي الدِّينِ وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ قَالُواْ سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا وَاسْمَعْ وَانْظُرْنَا لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ وَأَقْوَمَ وَلَكِن لَّعَنَهُمُ اللّهُ بِكُفْرِهِمْ فَلاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً
 Words|من - Of| الذين - those who| هادوا - are Jews,| يحرفون - they distort| الكلم - the words| عن - from| مواضعه - their places| ويقولون - and they say,| سمعنا - "We hear[d]| وعصينا - and we disobey[ed]"| واسمع - and "Hear| غير - not| مسمع - to be heard| وراعنا - and "Raina"| ليا - twisting| بألسنتهم - [with] their tongues| وطعنا - and defaming| في - [in]| الدين - the religion.| ولو - And if| أنهم - [that] they| قالوا - (had) said,| سمعنا - "We hear[d]| وأطعنا - and we obey[ed]"| واسمع - and "Hear| وانظرنا - and look (at) us,"| لكان - surely it (would) have been| خيرا - better| لهم - for them| وأقوم - and more suitable.| ولكن - [And] but| لعنهم - cursed them| الله - Allah| بكفرهم - for their disbelief,| فلا - so not| يؤمنون - they believe| إلا - except| قليلا - a few.|

ከነዚያ አይሁዳውያን ከኾኑት ሰዎች ንግግሮችን ከስፍራዎቹ የሚያጣምሙ አልሉ፡፡ «ሰማንም አመጽንም የማትሰማም ስትኾን ስማ» ይላሉ፡፡ በምላሶቻቸውም ለማጣመምና ሃይማኖትንም ለመዝለፍ ራዒና ይላሉ፡፡ እነሱም «ሰማን ታዘዝንም ስማም ተመልከተንም» ባሉ ኖሮ ለነሱ መልካምና ትክክለኛ በኾነ ነበር፡፡ ግን በክህደታቸው አላህ ረገማቸው፡፡ ጥቂትንም እንጅ አያምኑም፡፡
آل الجلالين{ من الذين هادوا } قوم { يحِّرفون } يغيرون { الكلم } الذي أنزل الله في التوراة من نعت محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم { عن مواضعه } التي وضع عليها { ويقولون } للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا أمرهم بشيء { سمعنا } قولك { وعصينا } أمرك { واسمع غير مُسمع } حال بمعنى الدعاء أي لا سمعت { و } يقولون له { راعنا } وقد نهى عن خطابه وهي كلمة سب بلغتهم { ليٌا } تحريفا { بألسنتهم وطعنا } قدحا { في الدين } الإسلام { ولو أنهم قالوا سمعنا وأطعنا } بذل وعصينا { واسمع } فقط { وانظرنا } انظر إلينا بدل راعنا { لكان خيرا لهم } مما قالوه { وأقوم } أعدل منه { ولكن لعنهم الله } أبعدهم عن رحمته { بكفرهم فلا يؤمنون إلا قليلا } منهم كعبد الله بن سلام وأصحابه .

Lemmer, s tidep, qqaôen: "nesla, nunez, ssel, muqel a$ d", war ccekk, yif it i nitni, u iwqem kteô. Maca, Ixza ten Öebbi, ilmend n tijehli nnsen. Ur ppamnen, siwa ixeîîayen.
মুহিউদ্দীন খানকোন কোন ইহুদী তার লক্ষ্য থেকে কথার মোড় ঘুড়িয়ে নেয় এবং বলে, আমরা শুনেছি কিন্তু অমান্য করছি। তারা আরো বলে, শোন, না শোনার মত। মুখ বাঁকিয়ে দ্বীনের প্রতি তাচ্ছিল্য প্রদর্শনের উদ্দেশে বলে, রায়েনা’ (আমাদের রাখাল)। অথচ যদি তারা বলত যে, আমরা শুনেছি ও মান্য করেছি এবং (যদি বলত, ) শোন এবং আমাদের প্রতি লক্ষ্য রাখ, তবে তাই ছিল তাদের জন্য উত্তম আর সেটাই ছিল যথার্থ ও সঠিক। কিন্তু আল্লাহ তাদের প্রতি অভিসম্পাত করেছেন তাদের কুফরীর দরুন। অতএব, তারা ঈমান আনছে না, কিন্তু অতি অল্পসংখ্যক।
LiteralFrom those who repented/guided/Jews, they alter the words/expressions from its places, and they say: "We heard/listened and we disobeyed." And hear/listen not making others hear, and: "Observe us ."Distortion with their tongues/languages and defaming in the religion, and if that they said: "We heard/listened and we obeyed and hear/listen and give us time/delay us ." (It) would have been best for them and more just/direct, and but God cursed them, with their disbelief, so they do not believe, except (for a) few. (NOTE: IN HEBREW MEANS `OUR EVIL ONE'),
Yusuf AliOf the Jews there are those who displace words from their (right) places, and say: "We hear and we disobey"; and "Hear what is not Heard"; and "Ra'ina"; with a twist of their tongues and a slander to Faith. If only they had said: "What hear and we obey"; and "Do hear"; and "Do look at us"; it would have been better for them, and more proper; but Allah hath cursed them for their Unbelief; and but few of them will believe.
PickthalSome of those who are Jews change words from their context and say: "We hear and disobey; hear thou as one who heareth not" and "Listen to us!" distorting with their tongues and slandering religion. If they had said: "We hear and we obey: hear thou, and look at us" it had been better for them, and more upright. But Allah hath cursed them for their disbelief, so they believe not, save a few.
Arberry Some of the Jews pervert words from their meanings saying, 'We have heard and we disobey' and 'Hear, and be thou not given to hear' and 'Observe us,' twisting with their tongues and traducing religion. If they had said, 'We have heard and obey' and 'Hear' and 'Regard us,' it would have been better for them, and more upright; but God has cursed them for their unbelief so they believe not except a few.
ShakirOf those who are Jews (there are those who) alter words from their places and say: We have heard and we disobey and: Hear, may you not be made to hear! and: Raina, distorting (the word) with their tongues and taunting about religion; and if they had said (instead): We have heard and we obey, and hearken, and unzurna it would have been better for them and more upright; but Allah has cursed them on account of their unbelief, so they do not believe but a little.
SarwarSome Jews take certain words out of context and by twisting their tongues to make a jest out of the true religion, say, "We heard and (in our hearts ) disobeyed. (Muhammad) ra`ina (be kind to us) but they intend thereby (the meaning in their own language): "Listen! May God turn you deaf." They should have said, "We heard and obeyed. (Muhammad) listen and consider our question." This would have been better for them and more righteous. God has condemned them for their disbelief, thus, no one, except a few among them, will have faith.
H/K/SaheehAmong the Jews are those who distort words from their [proper] usages and say, "We hear and disobey" and "Hear but be not heard" and "Raina," twisting their tongues and defaming the religion. And if they had said [instead], We hear and obey" and "Wait for us [to understand]," it would have been better for them and more suitable. But Allah has cursed them for their disbelief, so they believe not, except for a few.
MalikAmong the Jews there are some who take the words out of their context and utter them with a twist of their tongues to slander the true Deen (faith) and say: "We hear and we disobey;" and "Hear, may you (O Muhammad) hear nothing!" And "Ra'ina" (an ambiguous word meaning: "listen, may you become deaf," or "our shepherd," or "in judeo-Arabic language conveying the sense of "our evil one"). If only they had said: "We hear and we obey;" and "Hear us;" and "Unzurna ("look upon us," or " pay attention to us"): it would have been better for them and more proper. Due to all this Allah has cursed them for their unbelief. In fact with the exception of a few, they have no faith.[46]
Maulana Ali**Some of those who are Jews alter words from their places and say, We have heard and we disobey; and (say), Hear without being made to hear, and (say), Raina, distorting with their tongues and slandering religion. And if they had said, We hear and we obey, and hearken, and unzurna, it would have been better for them and more upright; but Allah has cursed them on account of their disbelief, so they believe not but a little.
Free MindsFrom amongst the Jews there are those who take the words out of context, and they Say: "We hear and disobey, and listen but let not any listen, and shepherd us," in a twisting of their tongues and as a mockery of the system! And had they said: "We hear and obey, and listen, and watch over us," it would have been better for them and more upright; but God has cursed them for their disbelief, they do not believe except very little.
Qaribullah Some Jews tampered with the words (altering) their places saying: 'We have heard and we disobey, ' and 'Hear, without hearing, ' and 'Observe us (Ra'ina, in Hebrew means evil) ', twisting with their tongues traducing religion. But if they had said: 'We have heard and obey, ' and 'Hear, ' and 'Regard us, ' it would have been better for them, and more upright; but Allah has cursed them for their disbelief, so they do not believe, except a few.
George SaleOf the Jews there are some who pervert words from their places; and say, we have heard, and have disobeyed; and do thou hear without understanding our meaning, and look upon us: Perplexing with their tongues, and reviling the true religion. But if they had said, we have heard, and do obey; and do thou hear, and regard us: Certainly it were better for them, and more right. But God hath cursed them by reason of their infidelity; therefore a few of them only shall believe.

AsadAmong those of the Jewish faith there are some who distort the meaning of the [revealed] words, taking them out of their context and saying, [as it were,] "We have heard, but we disobey," and, "Hear without hearkening," and, "Hearken thou unto us, (O Muhammad)" - thus making a play with their tongues, and implying that the [true] Faith is false. And had they but said, "We have heard, and we pay heed," and "Hear [us], and have patience with us," it would indeed have been for their own good, and more upright: but God has rejected them because of their refusal to acknowledge the truth - for it is in but few things that they believe.
Khalifa**Among those who are Jewish, some distort the words beyond the truth, and they say, "We hear, but we disobey," and "Your words are falling on deaf ears," and "Raa'ena (be our shepherd)," as they twist their tongues to mock the religion. Had they said, "We hear, and we obey," and "We hear you," and "Unzurna (watch over us)," it would have been better for them, and more righteous. Instead, they have incurred condemnation from GOD due to their disbelief. Consequently, the majority of them cannot believe.
Hilali/Khan**Among those who are Jews, there are some who displace words from (their) right places and say: "We hear your word (O Muhammad SAW ) and disobey," and "Hear and let you (O Muhammad SAW) hear nothing." And Raina with a twist of their tongues and as a mockery of the religion (Islam). And if only they had said: "We hear and obey", and "Do make us understand," it would have been better for them, and more proper, but Allah has cursed them for their disbelief, so they believe not except a few.
QXP Shabbir Ahemd**Some of those who are Jews, distort words to give a different meaning. They say, "We hear and disobey," and "Your words are falling on deaf ears," and "Be our shepherd," and they twist their tongues to mock the DEEN. It would have been better and more upright for them to say, "We hear and obey," and "We hear you," and "Please watch over us and guide us." Instead, they have incurred deprivation from the Grace of Allah due to their denial of the Truth. Few of them will embrace belief.

Ahmed Raza Khanکچھ یہودی کلاموں کو ان کی جگہ سے پھیرتے ہیں اور کہتے ہیں ہم نے سنا اور نہ مانا اور سنیئے آپ سنائے نہ جائیں اور راعنا کہتے ہیں زبانیں پھیر کر اور دین میں طعنہ کے لئے اور اگر وہ کہتے کہ ہم نے سنا اور مانا اور حضور ہماری بات سنیں اور حضور ہم پر نظر فرمائیں تو ان کے لئے بھلائی اور راستی میں زیادہ ہوتا لیکن ان پر تو اللہ نے لعنت کی ان کے کفر کے سبب تو یقین نہیں رکھتے مگر تھوڑا
Shabbir Ahmed ان لوگوں میں سے جو یہودی بن گئے کچھ ایسے ہیں جو ہٹا دیتے ہیں الفاظ کو اُن کے موقع و محل سے اور کہتے ہیں: -سمعنا وعصینا- ہم نے سُنا اور نہ مانا اور - اسمع غیر مسمع= ہماری سُن تیری کوئی نہ سُنے اور (کہتے ہیں) -راعنا- کو -ر اعینا0:: (یعنی ہمارا گڈریا) مروڑ کر اپنی زبانیں طنز کرنے کے لیے دینِ حق پر اور اگر وہ یُوں کہتے -سمعنا واطعنا- ہم نے سُنا اور مان لیا اور - اسمع و انظرنا- سنیے اور ہماری طرف نظر کیجیے تو یہ ہوتا بہتر ان کے حق میں اور زیادہ درست بھی، لیکن دُور کردیا ہے اپنی رحمت سے اُن کو اللہ نے، ان کے کفر کی وجہ سے سو وہ نہیں ایمان لاتے مگر بہت کم۔
Fateh Muhammad Jalandharyاور یہ جو یہودی ہیں ان میں سے کچھ لوگ ایسے بھی ہیں کہ کلمات کو ان کے مقامات سے بدل دیتے ہیں اور کہتے ہیں کہ ہم نے سن لیا اور نہیں مانا اور سنیئے نہ سنوائے جاؤ اور زبان کو مروڑ کر اور دین میں طعن کی راہ سے (تم سے گفتگو) کے وقت راعنا کہتے ہیں اور اگر (یوں) کہتے ہیں کہ ہم نے سن لیا اور مان لیا اور (صرف) اسمع اور (راعنا کی جگہ) انظرنا (کہتے) تو ان کے حق میں بہتر ہوتا اور بات بھی بہت درست ہوتی لیکن خدان نے ان کے کفر کے سبب ان پر لعنت کر رکھی ہے تو یہ کچھ تھوڑے ہی ایمان لاتے ہیں

Ahmed Aliیہودیوں میں بعض ایسے ہیں جو الفاظ کو ان کے محل سے پھیر دیتے ہیں او ر کہتے ہیں ہم نے سنا اور نہ مانا او رکہتے ہیں کہ سن نہ سنایا جائے تو اور کہتے ہیں راعِنا اپنی زبان کو مروڑ کر اور دین میں طعن کرنے کے خیال سےاور اگر وہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم نے سنا اور ہمنے مانا اور سن تو اور ہم پر نظر کو تو ان کے حق میں بہتر اور درست ہوتا لیکن ان کے کفر کے سبب سے الله نے ا ن پر لعنت کی سو ان میں سے بہت کم لوگ ایمان لائیں گے
