| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[4:159] | Wa-in min ahli alkitabi illalayu/minanna bihi qabla mawtihi wayawma alqiyamati yakoonuAAalayhim shaheedan
|  وإن من أهل الكتاب إلا ليؤمنن به قبل موته ويوم القيامة يكون عليهم شهيدا
وَإِن مِّنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ إِلاَّ لَيُؤْمِنَنَّ بِهِ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَكُونُ عَلَيْهِمْ شَهِيدًا |
| Words | |وإن - And (there is) not| من - from| أهل - (the) People| الكتاب - (of) the Book| إلا - but| ليؤمنن - surely he believes| به - in him| قبل - before| موته - his death.| ويوم - And (on the) Day| القيامة - (of) the Resurrection| يكون - he will be| عليهم - against them| شهيدا - a witness.| |

| ከመጽሐፉም ሰዎች ከመሞቱ በፊት በእርሱ (በዒሳ) በእርግጥ የሚያምን እንጅ (አንድም) የለም፡፡ በትንሣኤም ቀን በነሱ ላይ መስካሪ ይኾናል፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وإنْ } ما { من أهل الكتاب } أحَد { إلا ليؤمنن به } بعيسى { قبل موته } أي الكتابي حين يعاين ملائكة الموت فلا ينفعه إيمانه أو قبل موت عيسى لما ينزل قرب الساعة كما ورد في حديث { ويوم القيامة يكون } عيسى { شهيدا } بما فعلوه لما بعث إليهم . |
| Ur illi yiwen, seg wAt Tezmamt, ur numin yis, uqbel tameppant is. Ass n tnekra ad yili d anagi nnsen. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর আহলে-কিতাবদের মধ্যে যত শ্রেণী রয়েছে তারা সবাই ঈমান আনবে ঈসার উপর তাদের মৃত্যুর পূর্বে। আর কেয়ামতের দিন তাদের জন্য সাক্ষীর উপর সাক্ষী উপস্থিত হবে। |
| Literal | And that from The Book's people, except to believe (E) with him (Jesus) before his (the individual's) death, and (on) the Resurrection Day, he (Jesus) will be on them a witness/testifier. |
