| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[4:101] | Wa-itha darabtum fee al-ardifalaysa AAalaykum junahun an taqsuroo mina alssalatiin khiftum an yaftinakumu allatheena kafaroo inna alkafireenakanoo lakum AAaduwwan mubeenan
|  وإذا ضربتم في الأرض فليس عليكم جناح أن تقصروا من الصلاة إن خفتم أن يفتنكم الذين كفروا إن الكافرين كانوا لكم عدوا مبينا
وَإِذَا ضَرَبْتُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُنَاحٌ أَن تَقْصُرُواْ مِنَ الصَّلاَةِ إِنْ خِفْتُمْ أَن يَفْتِنَكُمُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ إِنَّ الْكَافِرِينَ كَانُواْ لَكُمْ عَدُوًّا مُّبِينًا |
| Words | |وإذا - And when| ضربتم - you travel| في - in| الأرض - the earth| فليس - then not| عليكم - upon you| جناح - (is) any blame| أن - that| تقصروا - you shorten| من - [of]| الصلاة - the prayer| إن - if| خفتم - you fear| أن - that| يفتنكم - (may) harm you| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieved.| إن - Indeed,| الكافرين - the disbelievers| كانوا - are| لكم - for you| عدوا - an enemy| مبينا - open.| |

| በምድርም ላይ በተጓዛችሁ ጊዜ እነዚያ የካዱት ያውኩናል ብላችሁ ብትፈሩ ከሶላት (ባለ አራት ረከዓት የኾኑትን) ብታሳጥሩ በናንተ ላይ ኀጢአት የለም፡፡ ከሓዲዎች ለእናንተ በእርግጥ ግልጽ ጠላቶች ናቸውና፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وإذا ضربتم } سافرتم { في الأرض فليس عليكم جُناح } في { أن تَقصروا من الصلاة } بأن تردُّوها من أربع إلى اثنتين { إن خفتم أن يفتنكم } أي ينالكم بمكروه { الذين كفروا } بيان للواقع إذ ذاك فلا مفهوم له وبينت السنة أن المراد بالسفر الطويل وهو أربع برد وهي مرحلتان ويؤخذ من قوله تعالى: (فليس عيكم جُناح) أنه رخصة لا واجب وعليه الشافعي { إن الكافرين كانوا لكم عدوا مبينا } بيّني العداوة . |
| Mi teppeddum di tmurt, ulac u$ilif ma teééeméim taéallit, ma tugadem a d ééedmen fellawen wid ijehlen. Ih, ijehliyen banen d icenga nnwen. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যখন তোমরা কোন দেশ সফর কর, তখন নামাযে কিছুটা হ্রাস করলে তোমাদের কোন গোনাহ নেই, যদি তোমরা আশঙ্কা কর যে, কাফেররা তোমাদেরকে উত্ত্যক্ত করবে। নিশ্চয় কাফেররা তোমাদের প্রকাশ্য শত্রু। |
| Literal | And if you (P) moved in the Earth/land, so offense/guilt is not on you, that you shorten/reduce from the prayers if you feared that those who disbelieved betray/torture you , that the disbelievers are/were to you an evident, an enemy. (NOTE: THE CONDITION FOR REDUCTION OR SHORTENING OF PRAYERS DURING TRAVEL IN THE PRECEDING VERSE)59 |

| Ahmed Ali | اے نبی جب تم مسلمانو ں میں موجود ہو اور انہیں نماز پڑھانے کے لیے کھڑا ہو تو چاہیئے ان میں سے ایک جماعت تیرے ساتھ کھڑی ہو اور اپنے ہتھیار ساتھ لے لیں پھر جب یہ سجدہ کریں تو تیرے پیچھے سے ہٹ جائیں اور دوسری جماعت آئے جس نے نماز نہیں پڑھی وہ تیرے ساتھ نماز پڑھتے اور وہ بھی اپنے بچاؤ اور اپنے ہتھیار ساتھ رکھیں کافر چاہتے ہیں کہ کسی طرح تم اپنے ہتھیاروں اور اسباب سے بے خبر ہو جاؤ تاکہ تم پر یک بارگی ٹوٹ پڑیں اور اگر تم بارش کی وجہ سے تکلیف محسوس کرو یا بیمار ہو تو ہتھیار رکھ دینے میں کوئي مضائقہ نہیں اور (تب بھی) اپنا بچاؤ ساتھ رکھو بے شک الله نے کافروں کے لیے ذلت کا عذاب تیار کر رکھا ہے |
