| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[39:74] | Waqaloo alhamdu lillahiallathee sadaqana waAAdahu waawrathanaal-arda natabawwao mina aljannati haythu nashaofaniAAma ajru alAAamileena
|  وقالوا الحمد لله الذي صدقنا وعده وأورثنا الأرض نتبوأ من الجنة حيث نشاء فنعم أجر العاملين
وَقَالُوا الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي صَدَقَنَا وَعْدَهُ وَأَوْرَثَنَا الْأَرْضَ نَتَبَوَّأُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ حَيْثُ نَشَاءُ فَنِعْمَ أَجْرُ الْعَامِلِينَ |
| Words | |وقالوا - And they will say,| الحمد - "All praise| لله - (be) to Allah,| الذي - Who| صدقنا - has fulfilled for us| وعده - His promise| وأورثنا - and has made us inherit| الأرض - the earth,| نتبوأ - we may settle| من - [from]| الجنة - (in) Paradise| حيث - wherever| نشاء - we wish.| فنعم - So excellent| أجر - (is the) reward| العاملين - (of) the workers."| |

| «ምስጋና ለአላህ ለዚያ ተስፋ ቃሉን ለሞላልን፡፡ የገነትን ምድር በምንሻው ስፍራ የምንሰፍር ስንኾን ላወረሰን ይገባው» ይላሉም፡፡ የሠሪዎችም ምንዳ ምን ያምር! |
| آل الجلالين | { وقالوا } عطف على دخولها المقدر { الحمد لله الذي صدقنا وعده } بالجنة { وأورثنا الأرض } أي أرض الجنة { نتبوأ } ننزل { من الجنة حيث نشاء } لأنها كلها لا يختار فيها مكان على مكان { فنعم أجر العاملين } الجنة . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা বলবে, সমস্ত প্রশংসা আল্লাহর, যিনি আমাদের প্রতি তাঁর ওয়াদা পূর্ণ করেছেন এবং আমাদেরকে এ ভূমির উত্তরাধিকারী করেছেন। আমরা জান্নাতের যেখানে ইচ্ছা বসবাস করব। মেহনতকারীদের পুরস্কার কতই চমৎকার। |
| Literal | And they said: "The praise/glory (is) to God who was truthful to us (in) His promise, and made us inherit the earth/Planet Earth, we reside/settle from the Paradise where/when we will/want, so is blessed/ praised (is) the maker's/doer's reward ." |
| Yusuf Ali | They will say: "Praise be to Allah, Who has truly fulfilled His Promise to us, and has given us (this) land in heritage: We can dwell in the Garden as we will: how excellent a reward for those who work (righteousness)!" |

Lane I, 48): hence my rendering of it, in the above context, as "expanse".] |
| Khalifa** | They will say, "Praise be to GOD, who fulfilled His promise to us, and made us inherit the earth, enjoying Paradise as we please." What a beautiful recompense for the workers! |
