| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[36:49] | Ma yanthuroona illasayhatan wahidatan ta/khuthuhum wahumyakhissimoona
|  ما ينظرون إلا صيحة واحدة تأخذهم وهم يخصمون
مَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً تَأْخُذُهُمْ وَهُمْ يَخِصِّمُونَ |
| Words | |ما - Not| ينظرون - they await| إلا - except| صيحة - a shout| واحدة - one,| تأخذهم - it will seize them| وهم - while they| يخصمون - are disputing.| |

| እነርሱ የሚከራከሩ ሲኾኑ በድንገት የምትይዛቸው የኾነችን አንዲትን ጩኸት እንጂ ሌላን አይጠባበቁም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | قال تعالى: { ما ينظرون } أي ينتظرون { إلا صيحة واحدة } وهي نفخة إسرافيل الأولى { تأخذهم وهم يخصِّمون } بالتشديد أصله يختصمون نقلت حركة التاء إلى الحاء وأدغمت في الصاد، أي وهم في غفلة عنها بتخاصم وتبايع وأكل وشرب وغير ذلك، وفي قراءة يخصمون كيضربون، أي يخصم بعضهم بعضا. |
| Ad ganin kan asu$u yiwen, ara ten iêazen, wayel ppemqellaâen. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা কেবল একটা ভয়াবহ শব্দের অপেক্ষা করছে, যা তাদেরকে আঘাত করবে তাদের পারস্পরিক বাকবিতন্ডাকালে। |
| Literal | They do not wait except (for) one loud strong cry/torture raid (that) punishes/punishes them, and (while) they are disputing/controverting with each other . |
| Yusuf Ali | They will not (have to) wait for aught but a single Blast: it will seize them while they are yet disputing among themselves! |
