بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [35:45] | Walaw yu-akhithu Allahualnnasa bima kasaboo ma taraka AAalathahriha min dabbatin walakinyu-akhkhiruhum ila ajalin musamman fa-itha jaaajaluhum fa-inna Allaha kana biAAibadihi baseeran
| ولو يؤاخذ الله الناس بما كسبوا ما ترك على ظهرها من دابة ولكن يؤخرهم إلى أجل مسمى فإذا جاء أجلهم فإن الله كان بعباده بصيرا وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ اللَّهُ النَّاسَ بِمَا كَسَبُوا مَا تَرَكَ عَلَى ظَهْرِهَا مِن دَابَّةٍ وَلَكِن يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى فَإِذَا جَاءَ أَجَلُهُمْ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِ بَصِيرًا |
Words | |ولو - And if| يؤاخذ - Allah (were to) punish| الله - Allah (were to) punish| الناس - the people| بما - for what| كسبوا - they have earned,| ما - not| ترك - He would leave| على - on| ظهرها - its back| من - any| دابة - creature.| ولكن - But| يؤخرهم - He gives them respite| إلى - till| أجل - a term| مسمى - appointed.| فإذا - And when| جاء - comes| أجلهم - their term,| فإن - then indeed,| الله - Allah| كان - is| بعباده - of His slaves| بصيرا - All-Seer.| |

| አላህም ሰዎችን በሠሩት ኀጢአት ቢይዝ ኖሮ በወለሏ (በምድር) ላይ ምንም ተንቀሳቃሽ ባልተወ ነበር፡፡ ግን እተወሰነ ጊዜ ድረስ ያቆያቸዋል፡፡ ጊዜያቸውም በመጣ ወቅት (በኀጢአታቸው ይቀጣቸዋል)፡፡ አላህ በባሮቹ (ኹኔታ) ተመልካች ነውና፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | {ولو يؤاخذ الله الناس بما كسبوا} من المعاصي { ما ترك على ظهرها } أي الأرض {من دابة} نسمة تدبّ عليها {ولكن يؤخرهم إلى أجل مسمى} أي يوم القيامة {فإذا جاء أجلهم فإن الله كان بعباده بصيرا} فيجازيهم على أعمالهم، بإثابة المؤمنين وعقاب الكافرين. |

মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যদি আল্লাহ মানুষকে তাদের কৃতকর্মের কারণে পাকড়াও করতেন, তবে ভুপৃষ্ঠে চলমানকাউকে ছেড়ে দিতেন না। কিন্তু তিনি এক নির্দিষ্ট মেয়াদ পর্যন্ত তাদেরকে অবকাশ দেন। অতঃপর যখন সে নির্দিষ্ট মেয়াদ এসে যাবে তখন আল্লাহর সব বান্দা তাঁর দৃষ্টিতে থাকবে। |
Literal | And if God punishes/takes the people because (of) what they earned/acquired/won , He would not have left on its back/surface/top from a walker/creeper/crawler , and but He delays them to a named/identified term/time, so if their term/time came, so then God was/is with His worshippers/slaves seeing/knowing/understanding.315 |
Yusuf Ali | If Allah were to punish men according to what they deserve. He would not leave on the back of the (earth) a single living creature: but He gives them respite for a stated Term: when their Term expires, verily Allah has in His sight all His Servants. |
Pickthal | If Allah took mankind to task by that which they deserve, He would not leave a living creature on the surface of the earth; but He reprieveth them unto an appointed term, and when their term cometh - then verily (they will know that) Allah is ever Seer of His slaves. |
Arberry | If God should take men to task for what they have earned He would not leave upon the face of the earth one creature that crawls; but He is deferring them to a stated term. But when their term is come -- surely God sees His servants. |

Sarwar | Were God to punish people for their deeds immediately, not one creature would have survived on earth. However, He has given them a respite for an appointed time and when their term comes to an end, let it be known that God watches over His servants. |

| Na o siksaan o Allah ko manga manosiya so pinggalbk iran (a manga dosa), na da a lambaan Iyan ko liyawaw o lopa a baraniyawa: Na ogaid na pakalalanatn Iyan siran taman ko taalik a miyapnto: Na igira a miyakatalingoma so taalik kiran, na mataan! a so Allah na tatap a phagilayn Iyan so manga oripn Iyan. |

Abul Ala Maududi | اگر کہیں وہ لوگوں کو اُن کے کیے کرتوتوں پر پکڑتا تو زمین پر کسی متنفس کو جیتا نہ چھوڑتا مگر وہ انہیں ایک مقرر وقت تک کے لیے مہلت دے رہا ہے پھر جب ان کا وقت آن پورا ہوگا تو اللہ اپنے بندوں کو دیکھ لے گا |
