بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [33:14] | Walaw dukhilat AAalayhim min aqtarihathumma su-iloo alfitnata laatawha wamatalabbathoo biha illa yaseeran
| ولو دخلت عليهم من أقطارها ثم سئلوا الفتنة لآتوها وما تلبثوا بها إلا يسيرا وَلَوْ دُخِلَتْ عَلَيْهِم مِّنْ أَقْطَارِهَا ثُمَّ سُئِلُوا الْفِتْنَةَ لَآتَوْهَا وَمَا تَلَبَّثُوا بِهَا إِلَّا يَسِيرًا |
Words | |ولو - And if| دخلت - had been entered| عليهم - upon them| من - from| أقطارها - all its sides| ثم - then| سئلوا - they had been asked| الفتنة - the treachery,| لآتوها - they (would) have certainly done it| وما - and not| تلبثوا - they (would) have hesitated| بها - over it| إلا - except| يسيرا - a little.| |

| በእነርሱም ላይ (ቤቶቻቸው) ከየቀበሌዋ በተገባባት ከዚያም ከኢስላም መመለስን በተጠየቁ ኖሮ በሠሯት ነበር፡፡ በእርሷም ጥቂትን ጊዜ እንጂ አይቆዩም ነበር፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { ولو دُخلت } أي المدينة { عليهم من أقطارها } نواحيها { ثم سُئِلوا } أي سألهم الداخلون { الفتنة } الشرك { لآتوها } بالمد والقصر أي أعطوها وفعلوها { وما تلبَّثوا بها إلا يسيراً } . |
| Ma kecmen ten id, si leriaf is, sinna, ssutren asen ad xubten, ad xubten. Cwiî kan ara kukrun fellas. |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যদি শত্রুপক্ষ চতুর্দিক থেকে নগরে প্রবেশ করে তাদের সাথে মিলিত হত, অতঃপর বিদ্রোহ করতে প্ররোচিত করত, তবে তারা অবশ্যই বিদ্রোহ করত এবং তারা মোটেই বিলম্ব করত না। |
Literal | And if (it) is entered on them from its sides/directions then they were asked (for) the treason , they would have given it (E) and they would not have delayed/remained with it (the treason) except little . |
Yusuf Ali | And if an entry had been effected to them from the sides of the (city), and they had been incited to sedition, they would certainly have brought it to pass, with none but a brief delay! |
Pickthal | If the enemy had entered from all sides and they had been exhorted to treachery, they would have committed it, and would have hesitated thereupon but little. |
Arberry | And if entrance had been forced against them from those quarters, and then they had been asked to apostatise, they would have done so, and but tarried about it briefly. |
Shakir | And if an entry were made upon them from the outlying parts of it, then they were asked to wage war, they would certainly have done it, and they would not have stayed in it but a little while. |
Sarwar | Had the army of the enemies invaded their homes and asked them to give-up their religion, they would have yielded to them without delay. |
