بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [31:21] | Wa-itha qeela lahumu ittabiAAoo maanzala Allahu qaloo bal nattabiAAu ma wajadnaAAalayhi abaana awa law kana alshshaytanuyadAAoohum ila AAathabi alssaAAeeri
| وإذا قيل لهم اتبعوا ما أنزل الله قالوا بل نتبع ما وجدنا عليه آباءنا أولو كان الشيطان يدعوهم إلى عذاب السعير وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ اتَّبِعُوا مَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ قَالُوا بَلْ نَتَّبِعُ مَا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ آبَاءَنَا أَوَلَوْ كَانَ الشَّيْطَانُ يَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَى عَذَابِ السَّعِيرِ |
Words | |وإذا - And when| قيل - it is said| لهم - to them,| اتبعوا - "Follow| ما - what| أنزل - Allah (has) revealed,"| الله - Allah (has) revealed,"| قالوا - they say,| بل - "Nay,| نتبع - we will follow| ما - what| وجدنا - we found| عليه - on it| آباءنا - our forefathers."| أولو - Even if| كان - Shaitaan was| الشيطان - Shaitaan was| يدعوهم - (to) call them| إلى - to| عذاب - (the) punishment| السعير - (of) the Blaze!| |

| ለእነርሱም አላህ ያወረደውን ተከተሉ በተባሉ ጊዜ አይደለም በእርሱ ላይ አባቶቻችንን ያገኘንበትን እንከተላለን ይላሉ፡፡ ሰይጣን ወደ እሳት ቅጣት የሚጠራቸው ቢሆንም (ይከተሉዋቸዋልን?) |
آل الجلالين | { وإذا قيل لهم اتَّبعوا ما أَنزل الله قالوا بل نتبع ما وجدنا عليه آباءنا } قال تعالى: { أ } يتبعونه { ولو كان الشيطان يدعوهم إلى عذاب السعير } أي موجباته؟ لا. |
| Ma nnan asen: "ddut akked wayen id Issader Öebbi", a d inin: "xaîi, a neddu akked wayen id nufa ar imezwura nne$". I ma Cciîan atan la ten inecced ar uâaqeb n tmes? |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তাদেরকে যখন বলা হয়, আল্লাহ যা নাযিল করেছেন, তোমরা তার অনুসরণ কর, তখন তারা বলে, বরং আমরা আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদেরকে যে বিষয়ের উপর পেয়েছি, তারই অনুসরণ করব। শয়তান যদি তাদেরকে জাহান্নামের শাস্তির দিকে দাওয়াত দেয়, তবুও কি? |
Literal | And if (it) was said to them: "Follow what God descended." They said: "But we follow what we found on it our fathers." Even if the devil was calling them to the blazing's/inflamed's torture? |
Yusuf Ali | When they are told to follow the (Revelation) that Allah has sent down, they say: "Nay, we shall follow the ways that we found our fathers (following). "What! even if it is Satan beckoning them to the Penalty of the (Blazing) Fire? |
Pickthal | And if it be said unto them: Follow that which Allah hath revealed, they say: Nay, but we follow that wherein we found our fathers. What! Even though the devil were inviting them unto the doom of flame? |
