| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[30:52] | Fa-innaka la tusmiAAu almawtawala tusmiAAu alssumma aldduAAaaitha wallaw mudbireena
|  فإنك لا تسمع الموتى ولا تسمع الصم الدعاء إذا ولوا مدبرين
فَإِنَّكَ لَا تُسْمِعُ الْمَوْتَى وَلَا تُسْمِعُ الصُّمَّ الدُّعَاءَ إِذَا وَلَّوْا مُدْبِرِينَ |
| Words | |فإنك - So indeed, you| لا - (can) not| تسمع - make the dead hear| الموتى - make the dead hear| ولا - and not| تسمع - make the deaf hear| الصم - make the deaf hear| الدعاء - the call| إذا - when| ولوا - they turn,| مدبرين - retreating.| |

| አንተም ሙታንን አታሰማም፡፡ ደንቆሮዎችንም ዟሪዎች ሆነው በሸሹ ጊዜ ጥሪን አታሰማም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { فإنك لا تُسمع الموتى ولا تُسمع الصم الدعاء إذا } بتحقيق الهمزتين وتسهيل الثانية بينها وبين الياء { ولَّوْا مدبرين } . |
| Ma d keçç, s tidep, ur tezmirev a pperrev lmeggtin ad slen, ne$ iâeééugen ad slen i tnaâôit, ma u$alen $er deffir. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | অতএব, আপনি মৃতদেরকে শোনাতে পারবেন না এবং বধিরকেও আহবান শোনাতে পারবেন না, যখন তারা পৃষ্ঠ প্রদর্শন করে। |
| Literal | So that you do not make the deads hear/listen, and nor make the deaf hear/listen the call/prayer , if they turned away giving (their) backs. |
| Yusuf Ali | So verily thou canst not make the dead to hear, nor canst thou make the deaf to hear the call, when they show their backs and turn away. |
| Pickthal | For verily thou (Muhammad) canst not make the dead to hear, nor canst thou make the deaf to hear the call when they have turned to flee. |
