بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [30:39] | Wama ataytum min ribanliyarbuwa fee amwali alnnasi falayarboo AAinda Allahi wama ataytum min zakatintureedoona wajha Allahi faola-ika humu almudAAifoona
| وما آتيتم من ربا ليربو في أموال الناس فلا يربو عند الله وما آتيتم من زكاة تريدون وجه الله فأولئك هم المضعفون وَمَا آتَيْتُم مِّن رِّبًا لِّيَرْبُوَاْ فِي أَمْوَالِ النَّاسِ فَلَا يَرْبُوا عِندَ اللَّهِ وَمَا آتَيْتُم مِّن زَكَاةٍ تُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَ اللَّهِ فَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُضْعِفُونَ |
Words | |وما - And what| آتيتم - you give| من - for| ربا - usury| ليربو - to increase| في - in| أموال - (the) wealth| الناس - (of) people,| فلا - not| يربو - (will) increase| عند - with| الله - Allah.| وما - But what| آتيتم - you give| من - of| زكاة - zakah| تريدون - desiring| وجه - (the) Countenance| الله - (of) Allah,| فأولئك - then those| هم - [they]| المضعفون - (will) get manifold.| |

| ከበረከትም በሰዎች ገንዘቦች ውስጥ ይጨመር ዘንድ የምትሰጡት አላህ ዘንድ አይጨምርም፡፡ ከምጽዋትም የአላህን ፊት የምትሹ ሆናችሁ የምትሰጡት እነዚያ (ሰጪዎች) አበርካቾች እነርሱ ናቸው፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { وما آتيتم من رِبا} بأن يعطي شيء هبة أو هدية ليطلب أكثر منه، فسمي باسم المطلوب من الزيادة في المعاملة { ليربوَ في أموال الناس } المعطين، أي يزيد { فلا يربو } يزكو { عند الله } لا ثواب فيه للمعطين { وما آتيتم من زكاة } صدقة { تريدون } بها { وجه الله فأولئك هم المضعفون } ثوابهم بما أرادوه، فيه التفات عن الخطاب. |
| Ayen teppakem n rrba, iwakken ad issem$weô ayla n medden, ar Öebbi ur issim$uô ara. Ayen tepzekkim $ef udem n Öebbi, d ayen ara ibuôekten. |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | মানুষের ধন-সম্পদে তোমাদের ধন-সম্পদ বৃদ্ধি পাবে, এই আশায় তোমরা সুদে যা কিছু দাও, আল্লাহর কাছে তা বৃদ্ধি পায় না। পক্ষান্তরে, আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টি লাভের আশায় পবিত্র অন্তরে যারা দিয়ে থাকে, অতএব, তারাই দ্বিগুণ লাভ করে। |
Literal | And what you gave/brought from a growth/increase/any interest (mortgages etc.) to grow/increase in the people's properties/wealths , so (it) does not grow/increase at God, and what you gave/brought from charity/purification , you want/intend God's face/front/direction, so those, they are the doublers/multipliers. |
Yusuf Ali | That which ye lay out for increase through the property of (other) people, will have no increase with Allah: but that which ye lay out for charity, seeking the Countenance of Allah, (will increase): it is these who will get a recompense multiplied. |
Pickthal | That which ye give in usury in order that it may increase on (other) people's property hath no increase with Allah; but that which ye give in charity, seeking Allah's Countenance, hath increase manifold. |
Arberry | And what you give in usury, that it may increase upon the people's wealth, increases not with God; but what you give in alms, desiring God's Face, those -- they receive recompense manifold. |
Shakir | And whatever you lay out as usury, so that it may increase in the property of men, it shall not increase with Allah; and whatever you give in charity, desiring Allah's pleasure-- it is these (persons) that shall get manifold. |
Sarwar | God will not allow to increase whatever illegal interest you try to receive in order to increase your wealth at the expense of people's property. Whatever amount of zakat you give to please God will be doubled (for you). |
H/K/Saheeh | And whatever you give for interest to increase within the wealth of people will not increase with Allah. But what you give in zakah, desiring the countenance of Allah those are the multipliers. |
Malik | That usury which you give to increase the wealth of people, does not increase with Allah: but the Zakah that you give to seek the pleasure of Allah, shall be repaid to you many times over.[39] |

| Na sadn sa ipammgay niyo a phoon sa kapakaisg, ka an makaysg ko manga tamok o manga manosiya, na di phakaysg sii ko Allah: Na sadn sa ipammgay niyo a phoon sa pangalinggagaw a kabaya iyo ko balas o Allah, na siran man na siran i gii thaktakp. |

Abul Ala Maududi | جو سُود تم دیتے ہو تاکہ لوگوں کے اموال میں شامل ہو کر وہ بڑھ جائے، اللہ کے نزدیک وہ نہیں بڑھتا، اور جو زکوٰۃ تم اللہ کی خوشنودی حاصل کرنے کے ارادے سے دیتے ہو، اسی کے دینے والے در حقیقت اپنے مال بڑھاتے ہیں |
