1 [3:79] | Ma kana libasharin anyu/tiyahu Allahu alkitaba waalhukmawaalnnubuwwata thumma yaqoola lilnnasikoonoo AAibadan lee min dooni Allahi walakinkoonoo rabbaniyyeena bima kuntum tuAAallimoonaalkitaba wabima kuntum tadrusoona
| ما كان لبشر أن يؤتيه الله الكتاب والحكم والنبوة ثم يقول للناس كونوا عبادا لي من دون الله ولكن كونوا ربانيين بما كنتم تعلمون الكتاب وبما كنتم تدرسون مَا كَانَ لِبَشَرٍ أَن يُؤْتِيَهُ اللّهُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحُكْمَ وَالنُّبُوَّةَ ثُمَّ يَقُولَ لِلنَّاسِ كُونُواْ عِبَادًا لِّي مِن دُونِ اللّهِ وَلَـكِن كُونُواْ رَبَّانِيِّينَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تُعَلِّمُونَ الْكِتَابَ وَبِمَا كُنتُمْ تَدْرُسُونَ |
Words | |ما - Not| كان - is| لبشر - for a human| أن - that| يؤتيه - gives him| الله - Allah| الكتاب - the Book,| والحكم - and the wisdom,| والنبوة - and the Prophethood,| ثم - then| يقول - he says| للناس - to the people,| كونوا - "Be| عبادا - worshippers| لي - of me| من - from| دون - besides| الله - Allah,| ولكن - but (would say)| كونوا - "Be| ربانيين - worshippers of the Lord| بما - because| كنتم - you have been| تعلمون - teaching| الكتاب - the Book| وبما - and because| كنتم - you have been| تدرسون - studying (it)."| |

| ለማንም ሰው አላህ መጽሐፍንና ጥበብን ነቢይነትንም ሊሰጠውና ከዚያም ለሰዎች «ከአላህ ሌላ ለእኔ ባሮች ኾኑ» ሊል አይገባውም፡፡ «ግን መጽሐፍን የምታስተምሩ በነበራችሁትና የምታጠኑም በነበራችሁት በዕውቀታችሁ ሠሪዎች ኹኑ» (ይላቸዋል)፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | ونزل لما قال نصارى نجران إن عيسى أمرهم أن يتخذوه ربا ولما طلب بعض المسلمين السجود له صلى الله عليه وسلم { ما كان } ينبغي { لبشر أن يؤتيه الله الكتاب والحكم } أي الفهم للشريعة { والنبوة ثم يقول للناس كونوا عبادا لي من دون الله ولكن } يقول { كونوا ربانيين } علماء عاملين منسوبين إلى الرب بزيادة ألف ونون تفخيما { بما كنتم تَعْلمُونَ } بالتخفيف والتشديد { الكتاب وبما كنتم تدرسون } أي بسبب ذلك فإن فائدته أن تعملوا . |
| Ur ippunefk ara i umdan iwumi Ifka Öebbi Tazmamt, ûûwab, u Irra t d nnbi, ad iu$al ad yini i medden: "ilit d imdanen iw, war Öebbi". Maca: "ilit d iselmaden, imi tesselmadem Tazmamt, u tlemdem". |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | কোন মানুষকে আল্লাহ কিতাব, হেকমত ও নবুওয়ত দান করার পর সে বলবে যে, ‘তোমরা আল্লাহকে পরিহার করে আমার বান্দা হয়ে যাও’-এটা সম্ভব নয়। বরং তারা বলবে, ‘তোমরা আল্লাহওয়ালা হয়ে যাও, যেমন, তোমরা কিতাব শিখাতে এবং যেমন তোমরা নিজেরা ও পড়তে। |
Literal | It was not to a human that God gives him The Book and the judgment/rule and the prophethood then he says to the people: "Be/become worshippers/slaves to me, from other than God". And but: "Be knowledgeable Lord worshippers with what you were teaching The Book and with what you were studying ". |
Yusuf Ali | It is not (possible) that a man, to whom is given the Book, and Wisdom, and the prophetic office, should say to people: "Be ye my worshippers rather than Allah's": on the contrary (He would say) "Be ye worshippers of Him Who is truly the Cherisher of all: For ye have taught the Book and ye have studied it earnestly." |
Pickthal | It is not (possible) for any human being unto whom Allah had given the Scripture and wisdom and the prophethood that he should afterwards have said unto mankind: Be slaves of me instead of Allah; but (what he said was): Be ye faithful servants of the Lord by virtue of your constant teaching of the Scripture and of your constant study thereof. |
