بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [3:198] | Lakini allatheena ittaqawrabbahum lahum jannatun tajree min tahtihaal-anharu khalideena feeha nuzulan minAAindi Allahi wama AAinda Allahi khayrunlil-abrari
| لكن الذين اتقوا ربهم لهم جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار خالدين فيها نزلا من عند الله وما عند الله خير للأبرار لَكِنِ الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْاْ رَبَّهُمْ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا نُزُلاً مِّنْ عِندِ اللّهِ وَمَا عِندَ اللّهِ خَيْرٌ لِّلْأَبْرَارِ |
Words | |لكن - But| الذين - those who| اتقوا - fear| ربهم - their Lord,| لهم - for them| جنات - (will be) Gardens| تجري - flows| من - from| تحتها - underneath them| الأنهار - the rivers,| خالدين - will abide forever| فيها - in it -| نزلا - a hospitality| من - from| عند - [near]| الله - Allah.| وما - And what| عند - (is) with| الله - Allah| خير - (is) best| للأبرار - for the righteous.| |

| ግን እነዚያ ጌታቸውን የፈሩ ለእነሱ ከሥሮቻቸው ወንዞች የሚፈሱባቸው ገነቶች በውስጧ ዘውታሪዎች ሲኾኑ ከአላህ ዘንድ (የተሰጡ) መስተንግዶዎች አሏቸው፡፡ አላህም ዘንድ ያለው (ምንዳ) ለበጎ ሠሪዎች በላጭ ነው፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { لكن الذين اتقوا ربَّهم لهم جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار خالدين } أي مقدرين بالخلود { فيها نُزُلا } وهو ما يعد للضيف ونصبه على الحال من جَنَّاتٍ والعامل فيها معنى الظرف { من عند الله وما عند الله } من الثواب { خير للأبرار } من متاع الدنيا . |
| Maca, i wid iêezzben i Mass nnsen: leonanat, ddawat sen isaffen ppazzalen, degsen ad wekkôen, d inebgawen n Öebbi. U d wayen illan ar Öebbi, d amxallef i izedganen. |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | কিন্তু যারা ভয় করে নিজেদের পালনকর্তাকে তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে জান্নাত যার তলদেশে প্রবাহিত রয়েছে প্রস্রবণ। তাতে আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে সদা আপ্যায়ন চলতে থাকবে। আর যা আল্লাহর নিকট রয়েছে, তা সৎকর্মশীলদের জন্যে একান্তই উত্তম। |
Literal | However/but those who feared and obeyed their Lord, for them (are) treed gardens, the rivers flow from below/beneath it, immortally/eternally in it a prepared guest house/place of descent from at God, and what (is) at God (is) better to the righteous . |
Yusuf Ali | On the other hand, for those who fear their Lord, are Gardens, with rivers flowing beneath; therein are they to dwell (for ever),- a gift from the presence of Allah; and that which is in the presence of Allah is the best (bliss) for the righteous. |
Pickthal | But those who keep their duty to their Lord, for them are Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will be safe for ever. A gift of welcome from their Lord. That which Allah hath in store is better for the righteous. |
Arberry | But those who fear their Lord - for them shall be gardens underneath which rivers flow, therein dwelling forever -- a hospitality God Himself offers; and that which is with God is better for the pious. |
Shakir | But as to those who are careful of (their duty to) their Lord, they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding in them; an entertainment from their Lord, and that which is with Allah is best for the righteous. |
Sarwar | For those who have fear of their Lord, there will be gardens wherein streams flow and they will live therein forever as a gift from their Lord. God has the best reward for the virtuous people. |
H/K/Saheeh | But those who feared their Lord will have gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding eternally therein, as accommodation from Allah. And that which is with Allah is best for the righteous. |
Malik | On the other hand, for those who fear their Lord, are Gardens, with rivers flowing beneath; therein are they to dwell (for ever),- a gift from Allah; and that which is from Allah is the best (bliss) for the righteous. [3:198] |

Asad | whereas those who remain conscious of their Sustainer shall have gardens through which running waters flow, therein to abide: a ready welcome from God. And that which is with God is best for the truly virtuous. |
Khalifa** | As for those who observe their Lord, they have deserved gardens with flowing streams; they abide therein forever. Such is the abode given to them by GOD. What GOD possesses is far better for the righteous. |

Abul Ala Maududi | برعکس اس کے جو لوگ اپنے رب سے ڈرتے ہوئے زندگی بسر کرتے ہیں ان کے لیے ایسے باغ ہیں جن کے نیچے نہریں بہتی ہیں، ان باغوں میں وہ ہمیشہ رہیں گے، اللہ کی طرف سے یہ سامان ضیافت ہے ان کے لیے، اور جو کچھ اللہ کے پاس ہے نیک لوگوں کے لیے وہی سب سے بہتر ہے |
