| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[29:6] | Waman jahada fa-innama yujahidulinafsihi inna Allaha laghaniyyun AAani alAAalameena
|  ومن جاهد فإنما يجاهد لنفسه إن الله لغني عن العالمين
وَمَن جَاهَدَ فَإِنَّمَا يُجَاهِدُ لِنَفْسِهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَغَنِيٌّ عَنِ الْعَالَمِينَ |
| Words | |ومن - And whoever| جاهد - strives| فإنما - then only| يجاهد - he strives| لنفسه - for himself.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لغني - (is) Free from need| عن - of| العالمين - the worlds.| |

| የታገለ ሰውም የሚታገለው ለነፍሱ ነው፡፡ አላህ ከዓለማት በእርግጥ ተብቃቂ ነውና፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ومن جاهد } جهاد حرب أو نفس { فإنما يجاهد لنفسه } فإن منفعة جهاده له لا لله { إن الله لغني عن العالمين } الإنس والجن والملائكة وعن عبادتهم. |
| Win ijuhden, ijuhed kan i iman is. Öebbi, s tidep, ur Iêwao ara imavalen. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যে কষ্ট স্বীকার করে, সে তো নিজের জন্যেই কষ্ট স্বীকার করে। আল্লাহ বিশ্ববাসী থেকে বে-পরওয়া। |
| Literal | And who struggled/exerted , so but he struggles/exerts for his self, that God (is) rich (E) from (not in need to) the creations all together/(universes) |
| Yusuf Ali | And if any strive (with might and main), they do so for their own souls: for Allah is free of all needs from all creation. |
| Pickthal | And whosoever striveth, striveth only for himself, for lo! Allah is altogether Independent of (His) creatures. |
| Arberry | Whosoever struggles, struggles only to his own gain; surely God is All-sufficient nor needs any being. |
