1 [28:31] | Waan alqi AAasaka falamma raahatahtazzu kaannaha jannun walla mudbiranwalam yuAAaqqib ya moosa aqbil wala takhafinnaka mina al-amineena
| وأن ألق عصاك فلما رآها تهتز كأنها جان ولى مدبرا ولم يعقب يا موسى أقبل ولا تخف إنك من الآمنين وَأَنْ أَلْقِ عَصَاكَ فَلَمَّا رَآهَا تَهْتَزُّ كَأَنَّهَا جَانٌّ وَلَّى مُدْبِرًا وَلَمْ يُعَقِّبْ يَا مُوسَى أَقْبِلْ وَلَا تَخَفْ إِنَّكَ مِنَ الْآمِنِينَ |
Words | |وأن - And [that]| ألق - throw| عصاك - your staff."| فلما - But when| رآها - he saw it| تهتز - moving| كأنها - as if it| جان - (were) a snake| ولى - he turned| مدبرا - (in) flight| ولم - and (did) not| يعقب - return.| يا - O| موسى - "O Musa!| أقبل - Draw near| ولا - and (do) not| تخف - fear.| إنك - Indeed, you| من - (are) of| الآمنين - the secure.| |

| «በትርህንም ጣል» (ተባለ)፡፡ እንደ ትንሽ እባብ ስትስለከለክ ባያትም ጊዜ ወደ ኋላ ዞሮ ሸሸ፤ አልተመለሰምም፡፡ «ሙሳ ሆይ! ተመለስ አትፍራም፤ አንተ ከጥብቆቹ ነህና» (ተባለም)፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { وأن ألق عصاك } فألقاها { فلما رآها تهتز } تتحرك { كأنها جان } وهي الحية الصغيرة من سرعة حركتها { ولَّى مدبرا } هاربا منها { ولم يعقب } أي يرجع فنودي { يا موسى أقبل ولا تخف إنك من الآمنين } . |
| Veggeô taâkwazt ik". Mi p iwala, la tesseêôiîiw amzun d azrem, ibren ur iwexxeô. "A Musa! Qeddem, ur ppagwad, aql ak, ih, di laman. |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আরও বলা হল, তুমি তোমার লাঠি নিক্ষেপ কর। অতঃপর যখন সে লাঠিকে সর্পের ন্যায় দৌড়াদৌড়ি করতে দেখল, তখন সে মুখ ফিরিয়ে বিপরীত দিকে পালাতে লাগল এবং পেছন ফিরে দেখল না। হে মূসা, সামনে এস এবং ভয় করো না। তোমার কোন আশংকা নেই। |
Literal | And that (E) throw/throw away your stick/cane. So when he saw it it shakes/moves as though it (is) a Jinn , he turned away giving his back, and he did not follow/track . "You Moses approach/come, and do not fear, that you are from the safe/secure." |
Yusuf Ali | "Now do thou throw thy rod!" but when he saw it moving (of its own accord) as if it had been a snake, he turned back in retreat, and retraced not his steps: O Moses!" (It was said), "Draw near, and fear not: for thou art of those who are secure. |
Pickthal | Throw down thy staff. And when he saw it writhing as it had been a demon, he turned to flee headlong, (and it was said unto him): O Moses! Draw nigh and fear not. Lo! thou art of those who are secure. |

Sarwar | Throw down your staff." When Moses saw his staff moving on the ground like a living being he fled with no desire to step forward. He was told, "Moses, step forward. Do not be afraid; you will be safe and secure. |

Draw near (to conviction), and fear not - for, behold, you are secure from harm." (7:107-108), (20:17-24), (26:32-33), (27:10-12). |

Abul Ala Maududi | اور (حکم دیا گیا کہ) پھینک دے اپنی لاٹھی جونہی کہ موسیٰؑ نے دیکھا کہ وہ لاٹھی سانپ کی طرح بل کھا رہی ہے تو وہ پیٹھ پھیر کر بھاگا اور اس نے مڑ کر بھی نہ دیکھا (ارشاد ہوا) "موسیٰؑ، پلٹ آ اور خوف نہ کر، تو بالکل محفوظ ہے |
