1 [28:23] | Walamma warada maa madyanawajada AAalayhi ommatan mina alnnasi yasqoonawawajada min doonihimu imraatayni tathoodani qalama khatbukuma qalata lanasqee hatta yusdira alrriAAaowaaboona shaykhun kabeerun
| ولما ورد ماء مدين وجد عليه أمة من الناس يسقون ووجد من دونهم امرأتين تذودان قال ما خطبكما قالتا لا نسقي حتى يصدر الرعاء وأبونا شيخ كبير وَلَمَّا وَرَدَ مَاءَ مَدْيَنَ وَجَدَ عَلَيْهِ أُمَّةً مِّنَ النَّاسِ يَسْقُونَ وَوَجَدَ مِن دُونِهِمُ امْرَأَتَيْنِ تَذُودَانِ قَالَ مَا خَطْبُكُمَا قَالَتَا لَا نَسْقِي حَتَّى يُصْدِرَ الرِّعَاءُ وَأَبُونَا شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ |

| ወደ መድየንም ውሃ በመጣ ጊዜ በእርሱ ላይ ከሰዎች ጭፍሮችን (መንጋዎቻቸውን) የሚያጠጡ ሆነው አገኘ፡፡ ከእነርሱ በታችም (ከውሃው መንጎቻቸውን) የሚከለክሉን ሁለት ሴቶች አገኘ፡፡ «ነገራችሁ ምንድን ነው» አላቸው፡፡ «እረኞቹ ሁሉ (መንጋዎቻቸውን) እስከሚመልሱ አናጠጣም፡፡ አባታችንም ትልቅ ሽማግሌ ነው» አሉት፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { ولما ورد ماء مدين } بئر فيها أي وصل إليها { وجد عليه أُمَّة } جماعة { من الناس يسقون } مواشيهم { ووجد من دونهم } سواهم { امرأتين تذودان } تمنعان أغنامهما عن الماء { قال } موسى لهما { ما خطبكما } ما شأنكما لا تسقيان { قالتا لا نسقي حتى يصدر الرعاء } جمع راع أي يرجعون من سقيهم خوف الزحام فنسقي وفي قراءة يصدر من الرباعي أي يصرفوا مواشيهم عن الماء { وأبونا شيخ كبير } لا يقدر أن يسقي. |
| Mi ibbwev s aman n Madian, iufa n arbaâ n l$aci, la sswan. Iufa, di îîerf nnsen, snat n tlawin, îîfent lmal nnsent. Inna: "d acu txeddmemt"? Nnant ed: "ur nesswa alamma wexxôen imeksawen. Babat ne$ d am$aô ameqwôan". |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যখন তিনি মাদইয়ানের কূপের ধারে পৌছলেন, তখন কূপের কাছে একদল লোককে পেলেন তারা জন্তুদেরকে পানি পান করানোর কাজে রত। এবং তাদের পশ্চাতে দূ’জন স্ত্রীলোককে দেখলেন তারা তাদের জন্তুদেরকে আগলিয়ে রাখছে। তিনি বললেন, তোমাদের কি ব্যাপার? তারা বলল, আমরা আমাদের জন্তুদেরকে পানি পান করাতে পারি না, যে পর্যন্ত রাখালরা তাদের জন্তুদেরকে নিয়ে সরে না যায়। আমাদের পিতা খুবই বৃদ্ধ। |
Literal | And when he neared/approached Madya's water he found at it a nation/generation from the people, they water/irrigate and he found from other than them two women, (B) pushing/defending , he said: "What (is) your matter/concern ." They (B) said: "We do not water/irrigate until the shepherds/protectors return from the water/proceed , and our father (is) an old aged old ." |
Yusuf Ali | And when he arrived at the watering (place) in Madyan, he found there a group of men watering (their flocks), and besides them he found two women who were keeping back (their flocks). He said: "What is the matter with you?" They said: "We cannot water (our flocks) until the shepherds take back (their flocks): And our father is a very old man." |
Pickthal | And when he came unto the water of Midian he found there a whole tribe of men, watering. And he found apart from them two women keeping back (their flocks). He said: What aileth you? The two said: We cannot give (our flocks) to drink till the shepherds return from the water; and our father is a very old man. |

He said, 'What is your business?' They said, 'We may not draw water until the shepherds drive off; and our father is passing old.' |

They said: We cannot water until the shepherds take away (their sheep) from the water, and our father is a very old man. |
