بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [28:9] | Waqalati imraatu firAAawna qurratuAAaynin lee walaka la taqtuloohu AAasa an yanfaAAanaaw nattakhithahu waladan wahum la yashAAuroona
| وقالت امرأت فرعون قرت عين لي ولك لا تقتلوه عسى أن ينفعنا أو نتخذه ولدا وهم لا يشعرون وَقَالَتِ امْرَأَتُ فِرْعَوْنَ قُرَّتُ عَيْنٍ لِّي وَلَكَ لَا تَقْتُلُوهُ عَسَى أَن يَنفَعَنَا أَوْ نَتَّخِذَهُ وَلَدًا وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ |
Words | |وقالت - And said| امرأت - (the) wife| فرعون - (of) Firaun,| قرت - "A comfort| عين - (of the) eye| لي - for me| ولك - and for you;| لا - (Do) not| تقتلوه - kill him;| عسى - perhaps| أن - (that)| ينفعنا - he may benefit us,| أو - or| نتخذه - we may take him| ولدا - (as) a son."| وهم - And they| لا - (did) not| يشعرون - perceive.| |

| የፈርዖንም ሚስት «ለእኔ የዓይኔ መርጊያ ነው፡፡ ለአንተም፡፡ አትግደሉት፡፡ ሊጠቅመን ወይም ልጅ አድርገን ልንይዘው ይከጀላልና» አለች፡፡ እነርሱም (ፍጻሜውን) የማያውቁ ሆነው (አነሱት)፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { وقالت امرأة فرعون } وقد هم مع أعوانه بقتله هو { قرت عين لي ولك لا تقتلوه عسى أن ينفعنا أو نتخذه ولداً } فأطاعوها { وهو لا يشعرون } بعاقبة أمرهم معه. |
| Tenna tmeîîut n Ferâun: "d nnûib n tiî, i nek akked keçç. Ur tneqq, ahat ad a$ infaâ, ne$ a t nerr d mmit nne$". Nitni ur faqen ara. |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | ফেরাউনের স্ত্রী বলল, এ শিশু আমার ও তোমার নয়নমণি, তাকে হত্যা করো না। এ আমাদের উপকারে আসতে পারে অথবা আমরা তাকে পুত্র করে নিতে পারি। প্রকৃতপক্ষে পরিণাম সম্পর্কে তাদের কোন খবর ছিল না। |
Literal | And Pharaoh's woman (wife) said: "An eye's delight/pleasure for me and for you, do not kill him, maybe/perhaps that he benefits us, or we take/receive him (as) a child (son): "And they do not feel/know/sense . |
Yusuf Ali | The wife of Pharaoh said: "(Here is) joy of the eye, for me and for thee: slay him not. It may be that he will be use to us, or we may adopt him as a son." And they perceived not (what they were doing)! |
Pickthal | And the wife of Pharaoh said: (He will be) a consolation for me and for thee. Kill him not. Peradventure he may be of use to us, or we may choose him for a son. And they perceived not. |
