| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[25:62] | Wahuwa allathee jaAAala allayla waalnnaharakhilfatan liman arada an yaththakkara aw aradashukooran
|  وهو الذي جعل الليل والنهار خلفة لمن أراد أن يذكر أو أراد شكورا
وَهُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ خِلْفَةً لِّمَنْ أَرَادَ أَن يَذَّكَّرَ أَوْ أَرَادَ شُكُورًا |
| Words | |وهو - And He| الذي - (is) the One Who| جعل - made| الليل - the night| والنهار - and the day| خلفة - (in) succession| لمن - for whoever| أراد - desires| أن - to| يذكر - remember| أو - or| أراد - desires| شكورا - to be thankful.| |

| እርሱም ያ (ያመለጠውን ሥራ) ማስታወስን ለሚፈልግ ወይም ማመስገንን ለሚፈልግ ሰው ሌሊትንና ቀንን ተተካኪ ያደረገ ነው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وهو الذي جعل الليل والنهار خلفة } أي يخلف كل منهما الآخر { لمن أراد أن يذَّكَّر } بالتشديد والتخفيف كما تقدم: ما فاته في أحدهما من خير فيفعله في الآخر { أو أراد شُكور } أي شكرا لنعمة ربه عليه فيهما . |
| D Neppa i Irran iv akked wass mestebâan, i win ib$an ad ismekti, ne$ ib$an ad isnemmer. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যারা অনুসন্ধানপ্রিয় অথবা যারা কৃতজ্ঞতাপ্রিয় তাদের জন্যে তিনি রাত্রি ও দিবস সৃষ্টি করেছেন পরিবর্তনশীলরূপে। |
| Literal | And He is who made/put the night and the daytime different/succeeding (one another) to who wanted that he remembers or wanted gratefulness . |
| Yusuf Ali | And it is He Who made the Night and the Day to follow each other: for such as have the will to celebrate His praises or to show their gratitude. |
