بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Wala ya/tali oloo alfadliminkum waalssaAAati an yu/too olee alqurba waalmasakeenawaalmuhajireena fee sabeeli AllahiwalyaAAfoo walyasfahoo ala tuhibboonaan yaghfira Allahu lakum waAllahu ghafoorunraheemun

ولا يأتل أولو الفضل منكم والسعة أن يؤتوا أولي القربى والمساكين والمهاجرين في سبيل الله وليعفوا وليصفحوا ألا تحبون أن يغفر الله لكم والله غفور رحيم
وَلَا يَأْتَلِ أُوْلُوا الْفَضْلِ مِنكُمْ وَالسَّعَةِ أَن يُؤْتُوا أُوْلِي الْقُرْبَى وَالْمَسَاكِينَ وَالْمُهَاجِرِينَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَلْيَعْفُوا وَلْيَصْفَحُوا أَلَا تُحِبُّونَ أَن يَغْفِرَ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ

Words

ከእናንተም የችሮታና የክብረት ባለቤቶች የኾኑት ለቅርብ ዘመዶችና ለድኾች በአላህም መንገድ ለተሰደዱ ሰዎች ላይሰጡ አይማሉ፡፡ ይቅርታም ያድርጉ፡፡ (ጥፋተኞቹን) ይለፉም፡፡ አላህ ለእናንተ ሊምር አትወዱምን አላህም መሓሪ አዛኝ ነው፡፡

آل الجلالين

{ ولا يأتل } يحلف { أولوا الفضل } أصحاب الغنى { منكم والسعة أن } لا { يؤتوا أولي القربى والمساكين والمهاجرين في سبيل الله } نزلت في أبي بكر حلف أن لا ينفق على مسطح وهو ابن خالته مسكين مهاجر بدري لما خاض في الإفك بعد أن كان ينفق عليه، وناس من الصحابة أقسموا أن لا يتصدقوا على من تكلم بشيء من الإفك { وليعفوا وليصفحوا } عنهم في ذلك { ألا تحبون أن يغفر الله لكم والله غفور رحيم } للمؤمنين قال أبو بكر: بلى أنا أحب أن يغفر الله لي ورجع إلى مسطح ما كان ينفقه عليه .

Wid, degwen, iwumi ippunefk lfevl akked terkunt, ur pgalan $ef tikci i llzem, i ime$ban, i wid iunagen deg ubrid n Öebbi. Ad semmêen, ad ssurfen. Day ur têemmlem ara mara awen Isemmeê Öebbi? Öebbi Ipsemmiê, Ipêunu.

মুহিউদ্দীন খান

তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা উচ্চমর্যাদা ও আর্থিক প্রাচুর্যের অধিকারী, তারা যেন কসম না খায় যে, তারা আত্নীয়-স্বজনকে, অভাবগ্রস্তকে এবং আল্লাহর পথে হিজরতকারীদেরকে কিছুই দেবে না। তাদের ক্ষমা করা উচিত এবং দোষক্রটি উপেক্ষা করা উচিত। তোমরা কি কামনা কর না যে, আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে ক্ষমা করেন? আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, পরম করুণাময়।

Literal

(Owners) of the grace/favour/blessing and the wealth/abundance from you do not slacken/relax , that they give/bring (those) of the relations/near, and the poorest of poor/poor oppressed, and the emigrants in God's sake/path , and to forgive/pardon, and they should forgive/pardon, do you not love/like that God forgives for you? And God (is) forgiving, merciful.

Let not those among you who are endued with grace and amplitude of means resolve by oath against helping their kinsmen, those in want, and those who have left their homes in Allah's cause: let them forgive and overlook, do you not wish that Allah should forgive you? For Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

And let not those who possess dignity and ease among you swear not to give to the near of kin and to the needy, and to fugitives for the cause of Allah. Let them forgive and show indulgence. Yearn ye not that Allah may forgive you? Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

The well-to-do and the rich among you should not fail to give to relatives, the destitute, and Emigrants for the cause of God. Be considerate and forgiving. Do you not want God to forgive you? God is All-forgiving and All-merciful.

Hence, [even if they have been wronged by slander,] let not those of you who have been graced with God's favour and ease of life ever become remiss in helping [Or: "Swear that [henceforth] they would not help [lit., "give to"]...", etc. Both these meanings - "he swore [that]" and "he became remiss [in]" - are attributable to the verb ala, which appears in the above sentence in the form ya tal. My rendering is based on the interpretation given to this verb by the great philologist Abu Ubayd al-Qasim al-Harawi (Cf. Lane I, 84).] [the erring ones among] their near of kin, and the needy, and those who have forsaken the domain of evil for the sake of God, [For an explanation of this rendering of the designation al-muhajirun (or, in other places, alladhina hajaru), see surah 2:218.] but let them pardon and forbear. [For,] do you not desire that God should forgive you your sins, seeing that God is much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace? [It is generally assumed that this verse refers to Abu Bakr, who swore that he would never again help his poor relative, the muhajir Mistah (whom he used to support until then) after the latter had taken part in slandering Abu Bakr's daughter, Aishah (see note on verse 11 above). There is no doubt that this assumption of the commentators is well-founded; but there is also no doubt that the ethical purport of the above verse is timeless and, therefore, independent of the fact or facts with which it appears to be historically linked. (This view finds additional support in the use of the plural form throughout the above passage.) The call to "pardon and forbear" is fully consonant with the Quranic principle of countering evil with good (see 13:22 and the corresponding note).]

Those among you who are blessed with resources and wealth shall be charitable towards their relatives, the poor, and those who have immigrated for the sake of GOD. They shall treat them with kindness and tolerance; do you not love to attain GOD's forgiveness? GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.

And let not those among you who are blessed with graces and wealth swear not to give (any sort of help) to their kinsmen, Al-Masakeen (the poor), and those who left their homes for Allahs Cause. Let them pardon and overlook the imperfections of the needy. Listen! Do you not love that Allah should forgive you, absolving your imperfections? Thus it is - Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

اور قسم نہ کھائیں وہ جو تم میں فضیلت والے اور گنجائش والے ہیں قرابت والوں اور مسکینوں اور اللہ کی راہ میں ہجرت کرنے والوں کو دینے کی، اور چاہیے کہ معاف کریں اور درگزریں، کیا تم اسے دوست نہیں رکھتے کہ اللہ تمہاری بخشش کرے، اور اللہ بخشنے والا مہربان ہے

اور نہ قسم کھائیں وہ لوگ جو صاحبِ فضل ہیں تم میں سے اور (صاحب) حیثیّت بھی کہ (نہ) دیں گے وہ قرابت داروں کو اور مساکین کو اور اللہ کی راہ میں ہجرت کرنے والوں کو اور اُنہیں چاہیے کہ معاف کردیں اور درگزر سے کام لیں۔ کیا نہیں پسند کرتے تم یہ بات کہ معاف کرے اللہ تمہیں؟ اور اللہ ہے معاف کرنے والا، رحم فرمانے والا۔
