بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [23:71] | Walawi ittabaAAa alhaqqu ahwaahumlafasadati alssamawatu waal-arduwaman feehinna bal ataynahum bithikrihim fahum AAanthikrihim muAAridoona
| ولو اتبع الحق أهواءهم لفسدت السماوات والأرض ومن فيهن بل أتيناهم بذكرهم فهم عن ذكرهم معرضون وَلَوِ اتَّبَعَ الْحَقُّ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ لَفَسَدَتِ السَّمَاوَاتُ وَالْأَرْضُ وَمَن فِيهِنَّ بَلْ أَتَيْنَاهُم بِذِكْرِهِمْ فَهُمْ عَن ذِكْرِهِم مُّعْرِضُونَ |
Words | |ولو - But if| اتبع - (had) followed| الحق - the truth| أهواءهم - their desires,| لفسدت - surely (would) have been corrupted| السماوات - the heavens| والأرض - and the earth| ومن - and whoever| فيهن - (is) therein.| بل - Nay,| أتيناهم - We have brought them| بذكرهم - their reminder,| فهم - but they,| عن - from| ذكرهم - their reminder,| معرضون - (are) turning away.| |

| አላህም ዝንባሌዎቻቸውን በተከተለ ኖሮ ሰማያትና ምድር በውስጣቸውም ያለው ሁሉ በእርግጥ በተበላሸ ነበር፡፡ ይልቁንም ክብራቸው ያለበትን ቁርኣን አመጣንላቸው፡፡ እነርሱም ከክብራቸው ዘንጊዎች ናቸው፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { ولو اتبع الحق } أي القرآن { أهواءهم } بأن جاء بما يهوونه من الشريك والولد لله، تعالى الله عن ذلك: { لفسدت السماوات والأرض ومن فيهن } خرجت عن نظامها المشاهد لوجود التمانع في الشيء عادة عند تعدد الحاكم { بل أتيناهم بذكرهم } أي القرآن الذي فيه ذكرهم وشرفهم { فهم عن ذكرهم معرضون } . |

মুহিউদ্দীন খান | সত্য যদি তাদের কাছে কামনা-বাসনার অনুসারী হত, তবে নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডল এবং এগুলোর মধ্যবর্তêী সবকিছুই বিশৃঙ্খল হয়ে পড়ত। বরং আমি তাদেরকে দান করেছি উপদেশ, কিন্তু তারা তাদের উপদেশ অনুধাবন করে না। |
Literal | And if the truth followed their self attractions for desires , the skies/space and the earth/Planet Earth and who (is) in them (B) would have (been) corrupted/destroyed , but We came/brought to them with their reminder, so they are from their reminder objecting/opposing . |
Yusuf Ali | If the Truth had been in accord with their desires, truly the heavens and the earth, and all beings therein would have been in confusion and corruption! Nay, We have sent them their admonition, but they turn away from their admonition. |
Pickthal | And if the Truth had followed their desires, verily the heavens and the earth and whosoever is therein had been corrupted. Nay, We have brought them their Reminder, but from their Reminder they now turn away. |
Arberry | Had the truth followed their caprices, the heavens and the earth and whosoever in them is had surely corrupted. Nay, We brought them their Remembrance, but from their Remembrance they turned. |
