| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[23:17] | Walaqad khalaqna fawqakum sabAAa tara-iqawama kunna AAani alkhalqi ghafileena
|  ولقد خلقنا فوقكم سبع طرائق وما كنا عن الخلق غافلين
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا فَوْقَكُمْ سَبْعَ طَرَائِقَ وَمَا كُنَّا عَنِ الْخَلْقِ غَافِلِينَ |
| Words | |ولقد - And indeed,| خلقنا - We (have) created| فوقكم - above you| سبع - seven| طرائق - paths| وما - and not| كنا - We are| عن - of| الخلق - the creation| غافلين - unaware.| |

| በእርግጥም ከበላያችሁ ሰባትን ሰማያት ፈጠርን፡፡ ከፍጥረቶቹም ዘንጊዎች አይደለንም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ولقد خلقنا فوقكم سبع طرائق } أي سماوات: جمع طريقة لأنها طرق الملائكة { وما كنا عن الخلق } التي تحتها { غافلين } أن تسقط عليهم فتهلكهم بل نمسكها كآية (ويمسك السماء أن تقع على الأَرض) . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আমি তোমাদের উপর সুপ্তপথ সৃষ্টি করেছি এবং আমি সৃষ্টি সম্বন্ধে অনবধান নই। |
| Literal | And We had created above you, seven stages/layers, and We were not from/of the creation ignoring/neglecting . |
| Yusuf Ali | And We have made, above you, seven tracts; and We are never unmindful of (our) Creation. |
