| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[23:18] | Waanzalna mina alssama-imaan biqadarin faaskannahu fee al-ardiwa-inna AAala thahabin bihi laqadiroona
|  وأنزلنا من السماء ماء بقدر فأسكناه في الأرض وإنا على ذهاب به لقادرون
وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً بِقَدَرٍ فَأَسْكَنَّاهُ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَإِنَّا عَلَى ذَهَابٍ بِهِ لَقَادِرُونَ |
| Words | |وأنزلنا - And We send down| من - from| السماء - the sky| ماء - water,| بقدر - in (due) measure| فأسكناه - then We cause it to settle| في - in| الأرض - the earth.| وإنا - And indeed, We,| على - on| ذهاب - taking it away,| به - taking it away,| لقادرون - surely (are) Able.| |

| ከሰማይም ውሃን በልክ አወረድን፡፡ በምድርም ውስጥ አስቀመጥነው፡፡ እኛም እርሱን በማስወገድ ላይ በእርግጥ ቻዮች ነን፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وأنزلنا من السماء ماءً بقدر } من كفايتهم { فأسكنَّاه في الأرض وإنَّا على ذهاب به لقادرون } فيموتون مع دوابهم عطشاً . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আমি আকাশ থেকে পানি বর্ষণ করে থাকি পরিমাণ মত অতঃপর আমি জমিনে সংরক্ষণ করি এবং আমি তা অপসারণও করতে সক্ষম। |
| Literal | And We descended from the sky/space water with a measure/quantity , so We settled it in the land/Earth , and We are on taking away/eliminating with it capable/able (E) . |
