| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[23:117] | Waman yadAAu maAAa Allahi ilahanakhara la burhana lahu bihi fa-innamahisabuhu AAinda rabbihi innahu la yuflihualkafiroona
|  ومن يدع مع الله إلها آخر لا برهان له به فإنما حسابه عند ربه إنه لا يفلح الكافرون
وَمَن يَدْعُ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَهًا آخَرَ لَا بُرْهَانَ لَهُ بِهِ فَإِنَّمَا حِسَابُهُ عِندَ رَبِّهِ إِنَّهُ لَا يُفْلِحُ الْكَافِرُونَ |
| Words | |ومن - And whoever| يدع - invokes| مع - with| الله - Allah| إلها - god| آخر - other,| لا - no| برهان - proof| له - for him| به - in it.| فإنما - Then only| حسابه - his account| عند - (is) with| ربه - his Lord.| إنه - Indeed, [he]| لا - not| يفلح - will succeed| الكافرون - the disbelievers.| |

| ከአላህም ጋር ሌላን አምላክ ለእርሱ በእርሱ ማስረጃ የሌለውን የሚገዛ ሰው ምርመራው እጌታው ዘንድ ብቻ ነው፡፡ እነሆ ከሓዲዎች አይድኑም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ومن يدع مع الله إلها آخر لا برهان له به } صفة كاشفة لا مفهوم لها { فإنما حسابه } جزاؤه { عند ربه إنه لا يفلح الكافرون } لا يسعدون . |
| Win inaâôen, ar tama n Öebbi, ôebbi nniven, ur isâi ppbut fellas, aqeîîi s ar Mass is kan. Ih, ur rebêen ara ijehliyen. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যে কেউ আল্লাহর সাথে অন্য উপাস্যকে ডাকে, তার কাছে যার সনদ নেই, তার হিসাব তার পালণকর্তার কাছে আছে। নিশ্চয় কাফেররা সফলকাম হবে না। |
| Literal | And who calls with God another god, (he has) no proof/evidence for him with it, so but his242account/calculation (is) at his Lord, that He truly does not make the disbelievers succeed/win. |
| Yusuf Ali | If anyone invokes, besides Allah, Any other god, he has no authority therefor; and his reckoning will be only with his Lord! and verily the Unbelievers will fail to win through! |
| Pickthal | He who crieth unto any other god along with Allah hath no proof thereof. His reckoning is only with his Lord. Lo! disbelievers will not be successful. |

| Malik | Whoever invokes another god besides Allah - about whose divinity he has no proof -he will have to give an account to his Lord. Surely such unbelievers will never attain salvation.[117] |
| Maulana Ali** | And whoever invokes, besides Allah, another god -- he has no proof of this -- his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely the disbelievers will not be successful. |

| Khalifa** | Anyone who idolizes beside GOD any other god, and without any kind of proof, his reckoning rests with his Lord. The disbelievers never succeed. |
| Hilali/Khan** | And whoever invokes (or worships), besides Allah, any other ilah (god), of whom he has no proof, then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely! Al-Kafiroon (the disbelievers in Allah and in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, pagans, idolaters, etc.) will not be successful. |
