بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [23:113] | Qaloo labithna yawman aw baAAdayawmin fais-ali alAAaddeena
| قالوا لبثنا يوما أو بعض يوم فاسأل العادين قَالُوا لَبِثْنَا يَوْمًا أَوْ بَعْضَ يَوْمٍ فَاسْأَلِ الْعَادِّينَ |
Words | |قالوا - They will say,| لبثنا - "We remained| يوما - a day| أو - or| بعض - a part| يوم - (of) a day;| فاسأل - but ask| العادين - those who keep count."| |

| «አንድ ቀንን ወይም ከፊል ቀንን ቆየን፡፡ ቆጣሪዎቹንም ጠይቅ» ይላሉ፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { قالوا لبثنا يوماً أو بعض يوم } شكّوا في ذلك واستقصروه لعظم ما هم فيه من العذاب { فاسأل العادين } أي الملائكة المحصين أعمال الخلق . |

মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা বলবে, আমরা একদিন অথবা দিনের কিছু অংশ অবস্থান করেছি। অতএব আপনি গণনাকারীদেরকে জিজ্ঞেস করুন। |

The disappearance, upon resurrection, of man's earth-bound concept of time is indicated by the helpless answer, "ask those who are able to count time".] |
