| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[21:59] | Qaloo man faAAala hatha bi-alihatinainnahu lamina alththalimeena
|  قالوا من فعل هذا بآلهتنا إنه لمن الظالمين
قَالُوا مَن فَعَلَ هَذَا بِآلِهَتِنَا إِنَّهُ لَمِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ |
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| من - "Who| فعل - (has) done| هذا - this| بآلهتنا - to our gods?| إنه - Indeed, he| لمن - (is) of| الظالمين - the wrongdoers."| |

| «በአማልክቶቻችን ይህንን የሠራ ማነው እርሱ በእርግጥ ከበደለኞች ነው» አሉ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { قالوا } بعد رجوعهم ورؤيتهم ما فعل { من فعل هذا بآلهتنا إنه لمن الظالمين } فيه . |
| Nnan: "anwa i igan akka i iôebbiten nne$? Neppa, war ccekk, d amednus". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা বললঃ আমাদের উপাস্যদের সাথে এরূপ ব্যবহার কে করল? সে তো নিশ্চয়ই কোন জালিম। |
| Literal | They said: "Who made/did that with our Gods? That he is from (E) the unjust/oppressive." |
| Yusuf Ali | They said, "Who has done this to our gods? He must indeed be some man of impiety!" |
| Pickthal | They said: Who hath done this to our gods? Surely it must be some evil-doer. |
| Arberry | They said, 'Who has. done this with our gods? Surely he is one of the evildoers.' |
| Shakir | They said: Who has done this to our gods? Most surely he is one of the unjust. |
| Sarwar | (When the people came to the temple and saw the broken idols) they asked each other, "Who has done this to our gods? He certainly is an unjust person". |
