1 [20:94] | Qala yabnaomma la ta/khuthbilihyatee wala bira/see innee khasheetu an taqoolafarraqta bayna banee isra-eela walam tarqub qawlee
| قال يا ابن أم لا تأخذ بلحيتي ولا برأسي إني خشيت أن تقول فرقت بين بني إسرائيل ولم ترقب قولي قَالَ يَا ابْنَ أُمَّ لَا تَأْخُذْ بِلِحْيَتِي وَلَا بِرَأْسِي إِنِّي خَشِيتُ أَن تَقُولَ فَرَّقْتَ بَيْنَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَلَمْ تَرْقُبْ قَوْلِي |
Words | |قال - He said,| يا - O| ابن - "O son of my mother!| أم - (Do) not| لا - seize (me)| تأخذ - by my beard| بلحيتي - and not| ولا - by my head.| برأسي - Indeed, I| إني - [I] feared| خشيت - that| أن - you would say,| تقول - "You caused division| فرقت - between| بين - (the) Children of Israel| بني - (the) Children of Israel| إسرائيل - and not| ولم - you respect| ترقب - my word."| |

| «የእናቴ ልጅ ሆይ! ጢሜንም ራሴንም አትያዝ፡፡ እኔ በእስራኤል ልጆች መካከል ለያየህ፤ ቃሌንም አልጠበቅህም ማለትህን ፈራሁ» አለው፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { قال } هارون { يا ابن أم } بكسر الميم وفتحها أراد أمي وذكرها أَعْطَف لقلبه { لا تأخذ بلحيتي } وكان أخذها بشماله { ولا برأسي } وكان أخذ شعره بيمينه غضبا { إني خشيت } لو اتبعك ولا بد أن يتبعني جمع ممن لم يعبدوا العجل { أن تقول فرقت بين بني إسرائيل } وتغضب عليَّ { ولم ترقب } تنتظر { قولي } فيما رأيته في ذلك . |
| Inna: "a mmi s n yimma! Ur iyi ppaîîaf si tamart iw, ne$ seg uqeôôu w. Nek, s tideps, ugade$ ad iyi d tiniv: tessemfaôaqev At Isôail, ur tu$ev awal iw". |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তিনি বললেনঃ হে আমার জননী-তনয়, আমার শ্মশ্রু ও মাথার চুল ধরে আকর্ষণ করো না; আমি আশঙ্কা করলাম যে, তুমি বলবেঃ তুমি বনী-ইসরাঈলের মধ্যে বিভেদ সৃষ্টি করেছ এবং আমার কথা স্মরণে রাখনি। |
Literal | He said: "You son of my mother, do not take/receive by my beard , and nor with my head, that I, I feared, that you say: 'You separated between Israel's sons and daughters, and you did not observe/guard my saying/word .'" |
Yusuf Ali | (Aaron) replied: "O son of my mother! Seize (me) not by my beard nor by (the hair of) my head! Truly I feared lest thou shouldst say, 'Thou has caused a division among the children of Israel, and thou didst not respect my word!'" |
