| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[2:84] | Wa-ith akhathna meethaqakumla tasfikoona dimaakum wala tukhrijoonaanfusakum min diyarikum thumma aqrartum waantum tashhadoona
|  وإذ أخذنا ميثاقكم لا تسفكون دماءكم ولا تخرجون أنفسكم من دياركم ثم أقررتم وأنتم تشهدون
وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَاقَكُمْ لاَ تَسْفِكُونَ دِمَاءَكُمْ وَلاَ تُخْرِجُونَ أَنْفُسَكُم مِّنْ دِيَارِكُمْ ثُمَّ أَقْرَرْتُمْ وَأَنتُمْ تَشْهَدُونَ |
| Words | |وإذ - And when| أخذنا - We took| ميثاقكم - your covenant,| لا - "Not| تسفكون - will you shed| دماءكم - your blood| ولا - and not| تخرجون - (will) evict| أنفسكم - yourselves| من - from| دياركم - your homes,"| ثم - then| أقررتم - you ratified| وأنتم - while you| تشهدون - (were) witnessing.| |

| ደሞቻችሁን አታፍስሱ ነፍሶቻችሁንም (ከፊላችሁን) ከአገሮቻችሁ አታውጡ የምንል ስንኾን የጠበቀ ቃል ኪዳናችሁን በያዝንባችሁ ጊዜ (አስታውሱ)፡፡ ከዚያም (በኪዳኑ) አረጋገጣችሁ፤ እናንተም ትመሰክራላችሁ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وإذ أخذنا ميثاقكم } وقلنا { لا تسفكون دماءكم } تريقونها بقتل بعضكم بعضاً { ولا تخرجون أنفسكم من دياركم } لا يخرج بعضكم بعضا من داره { ثم أقررتم } قبلتم ذلك الميثاق { وأنتم تشهدون } على أنفسكم. |
| Mi wen Nga laâqed nnwen: "ur zzazalet idim nnwen, ur pemssuffu$et seg ixxamen nnwen". D$a twefqem, kunwi d inagan. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যখন আমি তোমাদের কাছ থেকে অঙ্গীকার নিলাম যে, তোমরা পরস্পর খুনাখুনি করবে না এবং নিজেদেরকে দেশ থেকে বহিস্কার করবে না, তখন তোমরা তা স্বীকার করেছিলে এবং তোমরা তার সাক্ষ্য দিচ্ছিলে। |
| Literal | And when We took your promise/covenant. "Do not shed your blood and do not bring yourselves out from your homes/countries , then you acknowledged/accepted and you (are) witnessing/testifying. |
