| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[2:73] | Faqulna idriboohu bibaAAdihakathalika yuhyee Allahu almawtawayureekum ayatihi laAAallakum taAAqiloona
|  فقلنا اضربوه ببعضها كذلك يحيي الله الموتى ويريكم آياته لعلكم تعقلون
فَقُلْنَا اضْرِبُوهُ بِبَعْضِهَا كَذَلِكَ يُحْيِ اللّهُ الْمَوْتَى وَيُرِيْكُمْ آيَاتِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ |
| Words | |فقلنا - So We said,| اضربوه - "Strike him| ببعضها - with a part of it."| كذلك - Like this| يحيي - revives| الله - Allah| الموتى - the dead,| ويريكم - and shows you| آياته - His Signs,| لعلكم - perhaps you may| تعقلون - use your intellect.| |

| «(በድኑን) በከፊሏም ምቱት» አልን፤ እንደዚሁ አላህ ሙታንን ያስነሳል፤ ታውቁም ዘንድ ታምራቶችን ያሳያችኋል፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { فقلنا اضربوه } أي القتيل { ببعضها } فضرب بلسانها أو عَجْب ذنبها فحييَ وقال : قتلني فلان وفلان لاِبْنيْ عمه ومات فحرما الميراث وقتلا، قال تعالى : { كذلك } الإحياء { يحيي الله الموتى ويريكم آياته } دلائل قدرته { لعلكم تعقلون } تتدبرون فتعلمون أن القادر على إحياء نفس واحدة قادر على إحياء نفوس كثيرة فتؤمنون . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | অতঃপর আমি বললামঃ গরুর একটি খন্ড দ্বারা মৃতকে আঘাত কর। এভাবে আল্লাহ মৃতকে জীবিত করেন এবং তোমাদেরকে তাঁর নিদর্শণ সমূহ প্রদর্শন করেন-যাতে তোমরা চিন্তা কর। |
| Literal | So We said: "Mix/strike it with some of it." Like that God revives/makes alive the deads and He shows you His signs/verses/examples , maybe you reason/understand/comprehend |
