| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[2:65] | Walaqad AAalimtumu allatheenaiAAtadaw minkum fee alssabti faqulna lahum koonooqiradatan khasi-eena
|  ولقد علمتم الذين اعتدوا منكم في السبت فقلنا لهم كونوا قردة خاسئين
وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْتُمُ الَّذِينَ اعْتَدَواْ مِنكُمْ فِي السَّبْتِ فَقُلْنَا لَهُمْ كُونُواْ قِرَدَةً خَاسِئِينَ |
| Words | |ولقد - And indeed,| علمتم - you knew| الذين - those who| اعتدوا - transgressed| منكم - among you| في - in| السبت - the (matter of) Sabbath.| فقلنا - So We said| لهم - to them,| كونوا - "Be| قردة - apes,| خاسئين - despised."| |

| እነዚያንም ከእናንተ ውስጥ በቅዳሜ ቀን (ዐሣን በማጥመድ) ወሰን ያለፉትንና ለነሱ «ወራዳዎች ስትኾኑ ዝንጀሮዎች ኹኑ» ያልናቸውን በእርግጥ ዐወቃችሁ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ولقد } لام قسم { علمتم } عرفتم { الذين اعتدوا } تجاوزوا الحد { منكم في السبت } بصيد السمك وقد نهيناهم عنه وهم أهل آيلة { فقلنا لهم كونوا قردة خاسئين } مبعدين فكانوا وهلكوا بعد ثلاثة أيام . |
| Ni$ tessnem wid, segwen, iccven di Ssebt. Nenna yasen: "ilit d iddawen imaâfan"! |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তোমরা তাদেরকে ভালরূপে জেনেছ, যারা শনিবারের ব্যাপারে সীমা লঙ্ঘণ করেছিল। আমি বলেছিলামঃ তোমরা লাঞ্ছিত বানর হয়ে যাও। |
| Literal | And you had known those who transgressed/violated from you in the Saturday/Sabbath, so We said to them: "Be lowly/ousted out monkeys/apes ." |
