| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[2:63] | Wa-ith akhathna meethaqakumwarafaAAna fawqakumu alttoora khuthooma ataynakum biquwwatin waothkurooma feehi laAAallakum tattaqoona
|  وإذ أخذنا ميثاقكم ورفعنا فوقكم الطور خذوا ما آتيناكم بقوة واذكروا ما فيه لعلكم تتقون
وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيْثَاقَكُمْ وَرَفَعْنَا فَوْقَكُمُ الطُّورَ خُذُواْ مَا آتَيْنَاكُمْ بِقُوَّةٍ وَّاذْكُرُواْ مَا فِيهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ |
| Words | |وإذ - And when| أخذنا - We took| ميثاقكم - your covenant| ورفعنا - and We raised| فوقكم - over you| الطور - the mount,| خذوا - "Hold| ما - what| آتيناكم - We have given you| بقوة - with strength,| واذكروا - and remember| ما - what| فيه - (is) in it,| لعلكم - perhaps you| تتقون - (would become) righteous."| |

| ከበላያችሁም የጡርን ተራራ ያነሳን ኾነን የጠበቀ ቃልኪዳናችሁን በያዝን ጊዜ (የኾነውን አስታውሱ)፡፡ «ያንን የሰጠናችሁን በኀይል ያዙ፤ በውስጡ ያለውንም ነገር (ከእሳት) ትጠበቁ ዘንድ አስታውሱ» (አልን)፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { و } اذكر { إذ أخذنا ميثاقكم } عهدكم بالعمل بما في التوراة { و } قد { رفعنا فوقكم الطور } الجبل اقتلعناه من أصله عليكم لما أبيتم قبولها وقلنا { خذوا ما آتيناكم بقوة } بجد واجتهاد { واذكروا ما فيه } بالعمل به { لعلكم تتقون } النار أو المعاصي . |
| Mi Nga laâqed yidwen, Nessuli adrar sennig wen: "eîîfet nezzeh ayen i wen Nefka, mmektit ed i illan degs, amar a pêezzbem". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর আমি যখন তোমাদের কাছ থেকে অঙ্গীকার নিয়েছিলাম এবং তুর পর্বতকে তোমাদের মাথার উপর তুলে ধরেছিলাম এই বলে যে, তোমাদিগকে যে কিতাব দেয়া হয়েছে তাকে ধর সুদৃঢ়ভাবে এবং এতে যা কিছু রয়েছে তা মনে রেখো যাতে তোমরা ভয় কর। |
| Literal | And when We took your promise/covenant , and We raised above you the mountain , take/receive what We gave you with strength/power , and mention/remember what (is) in it, maybe you fear and obey (God). |
| Yusuf Ali | And remember We took your covenant and We raised above you (The towering height) of Mount (Sinai) : (Saying): "Hold firmly to what We have given you and bring (ever) to remembrance what is therein: Perchance ye may fear Allah." |
