| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[2:58] | Wa-ith qulna odkhuloo hathihialqaryata fakuloo minha haythu shi/tum raghadan waodkhulooalbaba sujjadan waqooloo hittatun naghfirlakum khatayakum wasanazeedu almuhsineena
|  وإذ قلنا ادخلوا هذه القرية فكلوا منها حيث شئتم رغدا وادخلوا الباب سجدا وقولوا حطة نغفر لكم خطاياكم وسنزيد المحسنين
وَإِذْ قُلْنَا ادْخُلُواْ هَـذِهِ الْقَرْيَةَ فَكُلُواْ مِنْهَا حَيْثُ شِئْتُمْ رَغَداً وَّادْخُلُواْ الْبَابَ سُجَّداً وَّقُولُواْ حِطَّةٌ نَّغْفِرْ لَكُمْ خَطَايَاكُمْ وَسَنَزِيدُ الْمُحْسِنِينَ |
| Words | |وإذ - And when| قلنا - We said,| ادخلوا - "Enter| هذه - this| القرية - town,| فكلوا - then eat| منها - from| حيث - wherever| شئتم - you wish[ed]| رغدا - abundantly,| وادخلوا - and enter| الباب - the gate| سجدا - prostrating.| وقولوا - And say,| حطة - "Repentance."| نغفر - We will forgive| لكم - for you| خطاياكم - your sins.| وسنزيد - And We will increase| المحسنين - the good-doers (in reward)."| |

| «ይህችንም ከተማ ግቡ፡፡ ከርሷም በሻችሁት ስፍራ ሰፊን (ምግብ) ተመገቡ፡፡ በሩንም ያጎነበሳችሁ ኾናችሁ ግቡ፤ (ጥያቄያችን የኃጢአታችን መርገፍ ነው) በሉም፡፡ ኃጢአቶቻችሁን ለናንተ እንምራለንና፡፡ በጎ ሠሪዎችንም (ምንዳን) እንጨምርላቸዋለን» ባልን ጊዜ (አስታውሱ)፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وإذ قلنا } لهم بعد خروجهم من التيه{ ادخلوا هذه القرية } بيت المقدس أو أريحا { فكلوا منها حيث شئتم رغدا } واسعا لاَ حَجْرَ فيه { وادخلوا الباب } أي بابها { سجداً } منحنين { وقولوا } مسألتنا { حطة } أي أن تحط عنا خطايانا { نغفر } وفي قراءة بالياء والتاء مبنياً للمفعول فيهما { لكم خطاياكم وسنزيد المحسنين } بالطاعة ثواباً. |
| Mi Nenna: "kecmet tamdint agi, eççet degs, s tawant, ayen i wen ihwan; kecmet si tebburt, s lekni; init: nendem. Ad awen Nsemmeê tuccva nnwen, a Nernu i iâaôviyen". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর যখন আমি বললাম, তোমরা প্রবেশ কর এ নগরীতে এবং এতে যেখানে খুশী খেয়ে স্বাচ্ছন্দ্যে বিচরণ করতে থাক এবং দরজার ভিতর দিয়ে প্রবেশ করার সময় সেজদা করে ঢুক, আর বলতে থাক-‘আমাদিগকে ক্ষমা করে দাও’-তাহলে আমি তোমাদের অপরাধ ক্ষমা করব এবং সৎ কর্মশীলদেরকে অতিরিক্ত দানও করব। |
| Literal | And when We said: "Enter this village/urban city, so eat from it where/when you willed/wanted easily/comfortably and enter the door/entrance prostrating and say humility/forgiveness (be humble) ,We (will) forgive for you your sins/wrongs/mistakes , and We will increase the good doers . |
| Yusuf Ali | And remember We said: "Enter this town, and eat of the plenty therein as ye wish; but enter the gate with humility, in posture and in words, and We shall forgive you your faults and increase (the portion of) those who do good." |
