| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[2:53] | Wa-ith atayna moosaalkitaba waalfurqana laAAallakum tahtadoona
|  وإذ آتينا موسى الكتاب والفرقان لعلكم تهتدون
وَإِذْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ وَالْفُرْقَانَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ |
| Words | |وإذ - And when| آتينا - We gave| موسى - Musa| الكتاب - the Book| والفرقان - and the Criterion,| لعلكم - perhaps you| تهتدون - (would be) guided.| |

| ሙሳንም መጽሐፍንና (እውነትና ውሸትን) መለያንም ትመሩ ዘንድ በሰጠነው ጊዜ (አስታውሱ)፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وإذ آتينا موسى الكتاب } التوراة { والفرقان } عطف تفسير، أي الفارق بين الحق والباطل والحلال والحرام { لعلكم تهتدون } به من الضلال . |
| Mi Nefka, i Musa, Tazmamt akked ufraz, amar a ppeppwanhum. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর (স্মরণ কর) যখন আমি মূসাকে কিতাব এবং সত্য-মিথ্যার পার্থক্য বিধানকারী নির্দেশ দান করেছি, যাতে তোমরা সরল পথ প্রাপ্ত হতে পার। |
| Literal | And when We gave Moses The Book and the Separator of Right and Wrong , maybe you (will) be guided. |
| Yusuf Ali | And remember We gave Moses the Scripture and the Criterion (Between right and wrong): There was a chance for you to be guided aright. |
