| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[2:207] | Wamina alnnasi man yashreenafsahu ibtighaa mardati Allahi waAllahuraoofun bialAAibadi
|  ومن الناس من يشري نفسه ابتغاء مرضات الله والله رءوف بالعباد
وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَشْرِي نَفْسَهُ ابْتِغَاءَ مَرْضَاتِ اللّهِ وَاللّهُ رَؤُوفٌ بِالْعِبَادِ |
| Words | |ومن - And of| الناس - the people| من - (is the one) who| يشري - sells| نفسه - his own self| ابتغاء - seeking| مرضات - pleasure| الله - (of) Allah.| والله - And Allah| رءوف - (is) full of Kindness| بالعباد - to His servants.| |

| ከሰዎችም ውስጥ የአላህን ውዴታ ለመፈለግ ነፍሱን የሚሸጥ ሰው አልለ፡፡ አላህም ለባሮቹ በጣም ርኅሩህ ነው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ومن الناس من يشري } يبيع { نفسه } أي يبذلها في طاعة الله { ابتغاء } طلب { مرضات الله } رضاه، وهو صهيب لما آذاه المشركون هاجر إلى المدينة وترك لهم ماله { والله رءووف بالعباد } حيث أرشدهم لما فيه رضاه . |
| Ger imdanen, win izzenzen iman is, issaram llza n Öebbi. Öebbi d Umâin ar imdanen. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর মানুষের মাঝে এক শ্রেণীর লোক রয়েছে যারা আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টিকল্পে নিজেদের জানের বাজি রাখে। আল্লাহ হলেন তাঁর বান্দাদের প্রতি অত্যন্ত মেহেরবান। |
| Literal | And from the people who buys/volunteers himself, desiring God's acceptance/satisfaction , and God (is) merciful/compassionate with the worshippers/slaves. |
| Yusuf Ali | And there is the type of man who gives his life to earn the pleasure of Allah: And Allah is full of kindness to (His) devotees. |
| Pickthal | And of mankind is he who would sell himself, seeking the pleasure of Allah; and Allah hath compassion on (His) bondmen. |
| Arberry | But other men there are that sell themselves desiring God's good pleasure; and God is gentle with His servants. |
