| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[2:169] | Innama ya/murukum bialssoo-iwaalfahsha-i waan taqooloo AAala Allahima la taAAlamoona
|  إنما يأمركم بالسوء والفحشاء وأن تقولوا على الله ما لا تعلمون
إِنَّمَا يَأْمُرُكُمْ بِالسُّوءِ وَالْفَحْشَاءِ وَأَن تَقُولُواْ عَلَى اللّهِ مَا لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ |
| Words | |إنما - Only| يأمركم - he commands you| بالسوء - to (do) the evil| والفحشاء - and the shameful| وأن - and that| تقولوا - you say| على - about| الله - Allah| ما - what| لا - not| تعلمون - you know.| |

| (እርሱ) የሚያዛችሁ በኃጢኣትና በጸያፍ ነገር በአላህም ላይ የማታውቁትን እንድትናገሩ ብቻ ነው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { إنما يأمركم بالسوء } الإثم { والفحشاء } القبيح شرعا { وأن تقولوا على الله ما لا تعلمون } من تحريم ما لم يحرم وغيره . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | সে তো এ নির্দেশই তোমাদিগকে দেবে যে, তোমরা অন্যায় ও অশ্লীল কাজ করতে থাক এবং আল্লাহর প্রতি এমন সব বিষয়ে মিথ্যারোপ কর যা তোমরা জান না। |
