| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[2:12] | Ala innahum humu almufsidoona walakinla yashAAuroona
|  ألا إنهم هم المفسدون ولكن لا يشعرون
أَلَا إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْمُفْسِدُونَ وَلَـكِن لاَّ يَشْعُرُونَ |
| Words | |ألا - Beware,| إنهم - indeed they| هم - themselves| المفسدون - (are) the ones who spread corruption,| ولكن - [and] but| لا - not| يشعرون - they realize (it).| |

| ንቁ እነርሱ አጥፊዎቹ እነሱው ናቸው፤ ግን አያውቁም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ألا } للتنبيه { إنهم هم المفسدون ولكن لا يشعرون } بذلك. |
| Day maççi d nitni, s tidep, ay d ifessaden, maca ur faqen? |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | মনে রেখো, তারাই হাঙ্গামা সৃষ্টিকারী, কিন্তু তারা তা উপলব্ধি করে না। |
| Literal | Is it not that they truly are, they are the corrupting and but they do not feel/know/sense? |
| Yusuf Ali | Of a surety, they are the ones who make mischief, but they realise (it) not. |
| Pickthal | Are not they indeed the mischief-makers? But they perceive not. |
| Arberry | Truly, they are the workers of corruption but they are not aware. |
